2022: Creating Model Customization Module-Component

On October 4, 2022, the ITPS Group of Companies announced the receipt of a certificate of state registration of the model-component adaptation module for the SYNAPS software complex. This development significantly expands the ability to work with integrated models of oil and gas fields, providing automation of a number of labor-intensive processes. Working in conjunction with the modules for creating, adjusting and updating models, the adaptation module allows you to quickly fill the model-components with field data that are continuously supplied from the field: geophysical data, information on the technological modes of well operation, the results of measurements and studies carried out on the fund.

The SYNAPS software package is a module of the Russian AVIST Oil & Gas platform (both solutions were created by the ITPS group of companies), used to control production from potential using integrated geological and technological modeling technology. According to the developers, these tools are optimally combined with various specialized software for integrated modeling from leading vendors. As of October 2022, SYNAPS is used in many ITPS projects to create and operate integrated models and digital counterparts of deposits.

In our daily operations, we model hundreds of sites in the largest fields and groups of fields, process huge amounts of field data, which are loaded into component models and used as a reference material for the analysis and study of various production scenarios. In order for the data to be relevant and reliable, they must be systematically updated, adjusted. Doing this work with your hands is an impossible task. We solve it using specialized tools, including a new development - a module for adapting component models. With its help, we can get rid of routine operations and massively update data according to established algorithms, the patterns of which we have developed over the years of practice. As a result, the labor productivity of modeling specialists increases to 2.5 times, and the volume of production on the fund - by 1-2% due to the adoption of effective management decisions based on calculations made on the integrated model, "said Anton Ovchinnikov, head of the ITPS integrated modeling department.

2020: Making "Synapse"

ITPS September 10, 2020 announced the creation of an "accelerator" for work data with for integrated modeling of an oil and gas field - the SYNAPS software package.

The Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) has registered a software package. Two certificates of state registration were obtained: for the module for creating and configuring models and the module for updating models. The use of these programs greatly simplifies and speeds up the process of creating an integrated model, a key tool of the Intelligent Field concept. Along with the AVIST integration platform already in use, the SYNAPS software package is an important component of the ITPS Integrated Service, which improves the efficiency of oil and gas production.

SYNAPS is a kind of "accelerator" for obtaining a digital twin of the deposit. The software package collects, processes and analyzes production data (for example, production history, reservoir pressure dynamics and other parameters) for automated formation of component models as part of an integrated model: a reservoir, wells, and a surface infrastructure system. "Manual" execution of such operations is thousands of clicks and hundreds of working hours. SYNAPSE does this in seconds and also provides feedback from models on convergence parameters so that engineers can assess how accurately the models map the actual properties of the objects being reproduced at different stages of operation.
