2020: Automation of accounting of shops, settlement and preparation of the reporting
Using 1C:CRM the uniform base for the franchasing Haricot project from METRO is created. 1C-Rarus reported about it on September 10, 2020. A system simplified opening of outlets — each stage of opening of shop and also management of shops after opening is controlled. Processing of requests of potential franchisees for saving of time of managers is optimized. The management received the convenient tool for timely decision making.
METRO actively develops the franchasing Haricot project. A format — retail stores at the house which are bought in METRO at wholesale prices. It both products, and household goods, and useful things in life. For METRO it is the priority project in Russia which grows with high speed.
The number of shops across all Russia in such format for September, 2020 reached more than 1,700 and continues to grow. When the project only started, the most part of the transactions connected with opening of outlets became manually, and it was enough. But for the stable growth of all network "Fasol" it was necessary to automate all business processes of a back office not to slow down development of the project.
From the very beginning it was the ambitious project for the company. The management understood that for automation the command with wide experience of implementation which could finish in short terms the standard solution under needs of the project is necessary. The second requirement — further to develop a system according to business needs, to observe terms and quality requirements at all stages. |
Project Objectives:
- Ensuring financial stability of the company due to automation of accounting of shops, settlement and preparation of the reporting.
- Formalization of interaction between employees and also standard processes during the work with partners of the company that will allow to reduce time for communications and to level loss of information.
1C-Rarus company selected from METRO on a ratio price/quality. The flexible development approach was important for the customer: all tasks collected in a backlog and divided into sprints. For achievement of result the mixed methodology was selected — the customer and the contractor create two-week sprint with the detailed description of the tasks entering it. The cost and labor costs on each sprint — fixed. Such approach allowed to approach flexibly management of key processes and saved the project budget at the expense of the task description and reduction of risks of assessment of complex technical specifications.
In each project of such scale small tasks and improvements which affect convenience of work surely collect or concern small errors. Such problems are solved within separate process of support, without damage of transfer of the main business challenges in sprints.
High speed of development is reached not only due to experience of a command, but also using the selected infrastructure. We used own powerful servers: for work of the platform of "1C' — processors with high clock rate, and for versatile tests — volume high-performance SSD on which placed several different versions of working base. For increase in speed of work of a configurator of "1C' and minimization of critical errors RAM up to 32 GB was increased — Alexander Teryukhanov, the developer software "1C-Rarus" comments. |
