Roskartography summed up the implementation of Directum RX

2021: Results of Directum RX implementation project

Tanais on February 17, 2021 summed up the results of the project for the implementation of Directum RX in JSC Roskartography.

Tanais employees began the introduction of SED in Roskartography in January 2020, the project lasted 6 months. Within its framework, Tanais specialists implemented Directum RX and set up business processes in accordance with the organization's regulations.

The client faced global process automation challenges:

• 1. creation of a single documentary repository;
• 2. normalization of document flow;
• 3. Establishing a clear hierarchical structure for harmonizing documents by introducing regulations and routes;
• 4. implementation of EDS.

Tanais employees interpreted ISO standards and implemented a document management system where the main ones were metadata on documents and interconnectedness with each other, and also provided the opportunity for rapid digital transformation without improvements.

The wide functionality of the Directum RX system made it possible to close the main tasks of document management at Roskartography:

• harmonization of internal documents;
• processing of incoming documents;
• coordination of outgoing and internal documents;
• harmonization of contracts;
• holding meetings;
• Processing of requisitions.
