In December, 2009 the shop opened by the oldest operator of the Russian market Rus-hotel LLC company at international airport Sheremetyevo-2 was automated. The solution integrated front-office (a cash system) "POS-FIT-K" Version 5.01 set on OMRON POS FIT-7000K POS terminals, and back-office (a management system for merchandising) GESTORI Pro. Both systems are developed by FIT company.
The similar configuration of the solution is planned to implementation at one, new client of FIT company in a Duty Free segment. Opening of shop is expected in March, 2010.
According to customers, the choice of software products of FIT company is dictated, first of all, by their extreme compliance to specific requirements of the Duty Free format. Among them the main thing is multicurrency: an opportunity to conduct cash fund, to perform calculations with buyers and to give change in different currencies. The linking of front-and back-offices allows to use at the same time up to 40 currency types though in most cases users select a combination of three main: ruble, dollar and euro. At the same time any of them can be used as basic including to print price labels in this currency. In the GESTORI Pro system the currency rate history for all trading days is conducted.
Software products from FIT company allow clients to conform to all requirements of the customs and tax law of the Russian Federation in all aspects of the reporting and interaction with buyers in Duty Free shops.
