2020: Beginning of laser transactions
On September 16, 2020 it became known that the first transactions by means of laser surgery took place in department of tumors of the head and neck of edge oncology dispensary in Krasnoyarsk. Do them using the laser surgical CO2 Lumenis system.
This method is suitable for treatment of patients with the first or second, and sometimes and the third stage of a disease. The laser allows to operate through a mouth at distance up to 50 cm. Such transaction allows to save a throat and a voice, gives to the patient the chance to breathe naturally.
