2020: Announcement of implementation of a digital system

On September 22, 2020 the Pipe Metallurgical Co. (PMC) reported that it began implementation of a digital system for the purpose of further improvement of sales process and work with clients. The CLARITY company acted as the partner of the project.

According to the company, the complex will integrate all communication channels with the consumer, will allow to make planning process and control of sales transparent, functional and flexible. A system will be constructed using solutions for seamless customer interaction of SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) and an IT product for formation of the price and commercial offers SAP CPQ (Configure Price Quote Solution).

These products will be integrated into the operating information systems of Pipe Metallurgic Company that will allow to exchange quickly customer information, orders, production planning and shipment. In addition, a system will be integrated with e-mail and also Pipe Metallurgic Company online store.

The project will be implemented in three stages. On the first process automation of sales and service for the companies of the industrial and industry sector and also the largest distributors is planned. At the second and third stages sales processes and service for the oil companies and the companies of foreign countries will be digitized.

System implementation of processing of the tender documentation will become the next step in development of this project. Thanks to artificial intelligence and machine learning, this solution will allow Pipe Metallurgic Company to reduce many times time spent for processing and preparation of answers to tenders.

Implementation of cloud solutions in Pipe Metallurgic Company is one of stages of global strategy of transition of the company to the updated business process models, management and methods of production planning. The main objective — to create a common information space of the manager in interaction with the consumer and also to simplify communication at study of orders and requests with other services of the company. A system will become for us the tool which will integrate separate information flows and will allow managers of sale to work more effectively.
