Simetra provided NIPIGAZ with technologies for transport modeling

2020: PTV Vissim delivery

Simetra, competence center in the field of modeling of traffic flows and transport planning, delivered in NIPIGAZ, the company on design management, deliveries, logistics and construction, software packages for transport micromodelling of PTV Vissim. It became known on September 28, 2020.

The software of PTV Vissim helps to model at the microlevel: create simulation of the movement of cars and pedestrians in intersection scales, considering their behavior. Using this solution the transport engineer can model networks with different node types, estimate influence of intersections on capacity, carry out the analysis of capacity and transport regulation on difficult transfer nodes taking into account the movement of city transport and pedestrians.

The products PTV Group traditionally were considered as niche solutions which are interesting only to specialists in the transport industry. However it not absolutely so: they help also industrial enterprises, including with an oil and gas sector. Projects NIPIGAZA differ in scale, complexity, complexity of logistic schemes.
