2020: Scaling of network infrastructure

On October 8, 2020 the H-Com company announced project completion of scaling of IT and network infrastructures of Institute of history of material culture of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IIMK RAS).

Development of scientific activity demanded from the management of institute of significant increase in quantity of jobs of employees and upgrade of a local network of organization. The contractor on execution of works was defined on the basis of an open competition based on which X-Com could offer the best and most qualification and reasonable terms of execution of works.

Specialists of a project team X-Com было conducted preproject examination of an information system of the customer, including hardware-software solutions, the client systems and means and also network infrastructure. The engineering design, the including set of recommendations to structure of the equipment and its specification was as a result developed.

Jobs are organized based on the self-produced computers X-Com manufactured taking into account the tasks which are carried out by employees of a different profile and also Lenovo ThinkPad and MSI GL 75 Leopard notebooks. Each workplace based on desktops is equipped with the uninterruptible power supply unit of APC which is reliably protecting the sensitive equipment from malfunctions in the power supply network.

For connection of the equipment are included in structure of network infrastructure additional switches Mikrotik RouterBoard 260GSP. Besides, within the project wireless network segment of Institute based on highly productive Wi-Fi-routers this producer is organized.

The project is executed in strict accordance with terms of the contract on the volume and terms. The quality management system operating in the company conforming to the international standard ISO 9001-2011 (ISO 9001-2008) in combination with multi-layer system of testing at all production phases, guarantee high quality of products.
