On October 12, 2020 the ZyXEL Networks company announced release of the protected wireless router Armor G5 AX6000 and also Wi-fi model 5, available at the price, using Wi-fi technology 6 12-stream - the multigigabit protected wireless router with function of parent control Armor G1.

According to the company, for October, 2020 sales mobile the devices supporting the standard of wireless networks Wi-Fi 6 quickly grow. Such devices solve problems of insufficient performance of Wi-fi at proper requirements to bandwidth, for example, at home office, during the work with applications IoT and with video of admissible permission.

Heart of Armor G5 is a 64-bit four-nuclear central processor of 2.2 GHz, in combination with 13 antennas with the increased gain amount and 12 flows of Wi-fi providing simultaneous service with the router more than 30 connections at the greatest possible speed.

For service of hardwired connections of Armor G5 it is equipped with port 10G Gig Ethernet LAN which gives increase in speed in comparison with LAN ports 1G, 2.5G and a 5G. For creators of a multimedia content and other users who need often to write on a local network on storage system NAS files of large volume or their backup copies.

Armor G5 also ensures safety of home users, self-employed and employees of small office. This router is compatible to the software of OpenVPN that allows to connect it to any VPN service. It gives to the user an opportunity of protection of all connections and devices in his home network, including also those which usually do not support protection using VPN (for example, smart TVs and video game consoles). If the user is out of the at home, then using the router he will be able to create the VPN tunnel for safe connection to the home network.

For preparation of the router for use it is delivered with mobile application of Armor Mobile App which issues detailed step-by-step instructions on setup. At the same time the convenient web interface allows to manage the device even if the user does not understand network technologies at all.
