Adding of the module "Virtual New Year Tree"

On the WSS Portal corporate portal the Polyus company had a function using which the staff of UK can please with New Year's gifts of children wards of Present Life and Lifeline funds. The company participates not the first year in charity programs therefore in anticipation of new year it decided to automate this process by implementation of the special module. On December 17, 2020 the solution designer - WSS-Consulting company reported about it.

The module received the name "Virtual New Year Tree". It displays "tiles of desires" on the portal, having clicked on which it is possible to learn about a New Year's dream of the child. One tile contains data on one child. To which of children to give a gift, the staff of Pole solves, and purchase and transfer of a gift happens already in offline.

If someone from employees already opened a tile with the child's wish, then to other users a system will not allow to select it. Thus the module controls that everyone got a treasured gift.

Implementation of the WSS Portal corporate portal

On October 14, 2020 the WSS-Consulting company announced project completion on implementation of the WSS Portal corporate portal in Polyus group. The portal covers 19 enterprises of gold mining holding and work of 6,500 users. In a project deliverable it was succeeded to increase efficiency of interaction of employees with personnel, administrative and IT departments, to optimize processes of exchange and storage of internal information.

For the Pole company it was necessary to create the uniform information platform which employees could use as the main instrument of interaction both in one enterprise, and between the enterprises of group. Automation of a full stroke of requests from giving of a request to the solution of a question and also the organization of the structured storage of internal documentation, convenient and quick search of information became not less important tasks.

We cooperate with Polyus company not the first year therefore when the customer asked us a question of the choice of a system for creation of a corporate portal, we suggested to implement the project based on the WSS Portal platform which in many respects conformed to requirements of the customer.
