The Central Bank of the Russian Federation creates Financial that of Hubs for training of specialists in financial technologies and cyber security

On October 14, 2020 the Central Bank of Russian Federation announced creation of the new educational platform for training of specialists in financial technologies and cyber security. Financial that of Hubs will earn based on the scientific and technology university "Sirius".

According to arrangement conditions, in January, 2021 at the university the educational class with scientific and practical laboratory, educational modules and programs of additional education for school students, students and specialists of the companies of financial market will be created.

It is noted that experts of the Central Bank will perform with lectures and to be attracted as mentors for students. And also the students who showed good results and receivers of grants of the Russian President whose operator of payment is the Talent and Success Fund will have an opportunity to do practical training in divisions of the Bank of Russia.

Our project with Sirius will allow young specialists to select work, relying not only on theoretical knowledge, but also on serious practical preparation. Both financial market, and the technology companies are in great need in such personnel — the first deputy chairman of the Bank of Russia Olga Skorobogatova said.

For September, 2020 opening in Sirius of the new master program "Financial Mathematics and Financial Technologies" is planned. A part of occupations will take place in Financial that of Hubs. It is supposed that the magistracy will integrate the existing practical methods and scientific research according to mathematical statistics, the theory of optimum control and machine learning. A main objective of the program — search of the innovative solutions in the field of financial technologies. Students will study the principles of work of financial institutions and approaches to implementation of the innovative technologies and also mathematical statistics, the theory of optimum control and machine learning.^[1]
