Biography

In 1990 Olga Skorobogatova with honors graduated from institute of the national economy of Plekhanov, and in 1995 – the Californian state university with assignment of degree of MBA^[1].

In 1992 started a professional bank career in Joint stock bank of cross-industry integration into positions of the chief specialist of department of currency transactions.

From 1993 to 1998 worked in Regional joint stock bank "Moscow" at the different leading posts in the field of client service.

From 1998 to 2003 – the director of the department of calculations of JSB Avtobank.

2003: Work in Rosbank

In May, 2003 Olga Skorobogatova passed to work into JSB Rosbank where headed development department of retail business. Then, from 2004 to 2007 consistently held positions of the director of directorate of operational cash services, directorate of retail service and directorate of information technologies.

In November, 2007 the Board of Directors of Rosbank made the decision on Olga Skorobogatova's appointment the vice chairman of the board of bank. At this position she was responsible for functioning and development of the systems of operational and cash and remote service and also for control of the information and technology block of Rosbank. Also Olga Skorobogatova headed committee on banking and information technologies.

The main objectives which Olga Skorobogatova solved as the deputy chairman of Rosbank: standardization of a system of operational cash services, quality improvement of work with clients, implementation of new operating rooms and information technologies and also creation of the hi-tech remote servicing system.

During operating time in Skorobogatov's Rosbank provided project implementation on consolidation of IT platforms (during consolidation of Rosbank and Societe Generale Vostok Bank), centralization of a back office, the organization of the centers of IT support, creation of department of projects and the organization of processes.

2014: The vice-chairman in the Central Bank of the Russian Federation

In July, 2014 Olga Skorobogatova left Rosbank and passed to work into the Central Bank of Russian Federation to the vice-chairman's position. According to the website of the Central Bank, she supervises the following questions:

• organization and functioning of a national payment system;
• development, regulation, supervision and observation in a national payment system;
• ensuring service of accounts of budgets of a budget system of the Russian Federation;
• performing transactions, calculations and accounting on the transactions performed by the Bank of Russia regarding the supervised divisions;
• development and ensuring project management;
• development and ensuring process management;
• development of financial and information technologies;
• development of information systems, data collection and processing;
• ensuring automation and informatization of activity of structural divisions of the Bank of Russia;
• organization of maintenance of applied software packages;
• organization of technical support, maintenance and repair of technical means and information telecommunication system of the Bank of Russia.

2017: Increase to the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation

In July, 2017 the Central Bank reported that Olga Skorobogatova will be appointed the first deputy chairman of bank. In this position she will supervise department of a national payment system, department of information technologies, department of financial technologies, projects and the organizations of processes and also department of cash circulation and Rosinkas.

The bank announced this staff movement after it became known of Georgy Luntovsky's solution to leave a post of the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank. It leaves since September, 2017.

The organization of cash circulation and monitoring of work Rosinkas which passed to Olga Skorobogatova were under Luntovsky's authority earlier.

2018: Chairman of Technical committee on standardization "Standards of financial transactions"

For December, 2018 the first deputy chairman of the Bank of Russia Olga Skorobogatova is also the chairman of Technical committee on standardization "Standards of financial transactions" (shopping mall 122).

2021

For January, 2021 Olga Skorobogatova is the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Supervisory board "Association of Financial that".
