2020: Upgrade 1C:MDM of a system

IT- the company Croc upgraded system 1C:MDM for ensuring integration with SAP and creations of a uniform information landscape in Segezha Group (enters c AFK "Sistema"). The project allowed integrate a system receiver in processes of consolidation, preprocessing and maintaining information group, normative and help at the enterprises.

To Segezha Group for October, 2020 there is a digital transformation of business and production processes. The SAP IT platform is actively built in business processes, allowing to increase operational efficiency, profit and transparency in the company. However for large and geographically distributed holding it is also important to save work with the inherited systems functioning at the enterprises of group. This task faced specialists of CROC during creation of points of integration between 1C:MDM and SAP.

Historically in Segezha Group 1C:MDM worked with more than 15 systems based on 1C. Therefore for the company it was important to save methodology of maintaining NSI, having provided integration with the implemented SAP products which have the features and restrictions. For this purpose specialists of CROC together with colleagues from Segezha performed process optimization of work with the normative reference information so that users did not notice changes. It allowed to reduce time for integration of SAP into an IT landscape of the company. Now data on partners, bank accounts, inventory items and services are synchronized via the bus of SAP that allows to process about 10 thousand records for an hour, apart from loading on other integration processes, passing through the bus.

Many large companies go the way uses of several serious accounting systems from different developers, for example, of SAP and 1C. At the same time, it is impossible to assume that with implementation of the platform, program infrastructure became more and more similar to a scrappy blanket. In these conditions it is important not just to implement the next system, but also to solve a problem of integration into a common information space. Specialists of CROC who not only carried out upgrade of system 1C:MDM, but also provided its integration with SAP managed to make it, - Yury Silantyev, the head of ERP systems of CROC IT company noted.

Implementation of a digital product creates opportunities for work with large volumes of data for Segezha Group. Instead of a set of separate local data we have the uniform centralized control system of the normative reference information, - the head of service NSI Segezha Group Christina Akopova comments.

For October, 2020 the summary nomenclature of Segezha Group contains more than 100 thousand records on the purchased inventory items (II) in seven regions of Russia and seven European countries and also 40 thousand records on finished goods, raw materials and semi-finished products. More than 50 thousand domestic and foreign partners cooperate with Group.
