2020: Robotization of a system of supply with the equipment

The retail chain stores Pyaterochka implemented the robotic system of supply with the equipment for new and reconstruction of the existing shops. This solution allows to increase efficiency and speed of procurement process. It became known on October 16, 2020.

Robotization affected practically all stages of process of supply of shops with the equipment: from calculation of necessary quantity of each position before creation of the order and the delivery schedule.

Earlier process of the order of the equipment was performed by employees in the manual mode: on the basis of the received file of a design, supply specialists performed manual formation of the specification to order, its reconciliation with a design and assembly schemes of the compound equipment, adjustment if necessary. At the same time the process stated above represented quite labor-intensive process with risks of an incorrect starting orders because of a human factor. Further the validation phase of the order and informing the supplier on a purchase order number for further execution of works followed.

System implementation allowed to robotize completely all this process from a stage of emergence of a design for the order of the equipment before formation it in a system for purchase. The robot precisely and quickly analyzes all information, makes the list of necessary positions and also automatically sends messages at each stage of creation of the order to all interested persons that significantly accelerates process.

The solution is applied in all macroregions of retail chain stores Pyaterochka, providing equipment procurements – press, metal furniture, the rack equipment, alkoshop, tobacco dispensers, furnaces, coffee machines, etc. Implementation of this solution allows to reduce influence of a human factor and to increase performance by 5-7%^[1].
