The SIMETRA company, competence center in the field of modeling of traffic flows and transport planning, announced on October 20, 2020 the big set of the software packages PTV consisting of PTV Visum, PTV Vissim and PTV Vistro delivery of the Turkish consulting company Kalyon Ulastırma. The Kalyon Ulaştırma company purchased software solutions for development of the transport master plan of Tashkent for the next three years. Then licenses will be transferred to the customer – to Department of transport of the capital of Uzbekistan.

our company began to work on creation of the transport concept of Tashkent already about two years ago. The main objective of the concept – to ensure safety, convenience and profitability of the transport system of the capital of Uzbekistan. After comprehensive comprehensive examination of the transport system and needs of the city, the concept is created, and it includes 13 directions. Among priorities of the transport master plan of Tashkent there is a development of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure. In the work we use multimodal software packages for modeling of flows of the movement PTV Vissim and PTV Visum which using mathematical calculations calculate a matrix of movement of the population. Such scheme is applied to creation of all transport concept. So becomes around the world, and Tashkent uses good computer programs. In addition we filled up working tools with the software package PTV Vistro using which we will debug the modes of traffic light regulation — the head of Kalyon Ulaştırma company Dzhikhat Kalyyondzhuoglu told.

The SIMETRA company as the supplier of the PTV Traffic Suite software products in Russia and the CIS countries constantly develops territories of use of technologies of transport planning and modeling of traffic flows. In 2019 we provided training in work with the PTV programs for specialists from Tashkent and delivered application suites of PTV in the Tashkent institute on design, construction and operation of highways (TADI). Now we help Department of transport of Tashkent through the Turkish partner – Kalyon Ulaştırma company – to implement the large-scale project on development of the transport master plan. We are sure that thereby the stone for sustainable development of transport planning and modeling in Uzbekistan is put now, and joint work will lead to improvement of a transport situation and more complex development of the transport system of the Uzbek capital, – the development director of SIMETRA company Christian Byottger noted.
