2001-2004

Sergey Matviyenko in 2001 became the adviser to the chairman of the board of St. Petersburg bank for IT, holds a minority stake of bank. In 2004 he became the vice president of VTB and became the head of IT department.

2018

In 2018 Sergey Matviyenko purchased the Parametr company which is engaged in repair and recovery of the sewerage in Moscow. Then he purchased Business-invest and Axiom. These companies are owners of several historical mansions in St. Petersburg.

2020: Receiving 25% of Infomekhanika IT company

In October, 2020 it became known of entry of Sergey Matviyenko, the son of the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, into number of founders of Infomekhanika IT company.

That Sergey Matviyenko became the owner of 25% of Infomekhanika, reported the Otkrytye Media edition with reference to the unified register of legal entities.

One more co-owner (25%) of Infomekhanika specifies a certain Alexander Pochatkov. Its complete the namesake was once the adviser to the president of Rostelecom and the first vice-president of the Committee on IT and Communication of St. Petersburg. According to the Lenizdat edition, in the past Pochatkov was the officer of FSB protecting the Russian defense objects from wiretap by foreign intelligence agencies. Besides, Alexander Borisov, Yury Shamanov and Sergey Savelyev (on 16.7%) were partners of the son of Valentina Matviyenko in business.

From 2015 to 2020 the company received only three government contracts for 3.2 million rubles. The company received the last government contracts in 2017 — for 2.6 million rubles with Gazprom komplektatsiya LLC.^[1]
