In the Tyumen region implemented the system of voice filling of the medical Voice2Med protocols

2020: System implementation of speech recognition of Voice2Med

On October 22, 2020 reported to CST that in medical institutions of the Tyumen region implemented the system of voice filling of the medical Voice2Med protocols developed by the CST group entering Sber's ecosystem. The region purchased 50 licenses to use a system in health facilities. The voice assistant will appear in departments of forensic medical examination, in histologic, biological and medico-criminalistic departments.

Development and implementation of technologies – one of the key areas of work of Sberbank. For this reason we represent the innovation bank and non-financial services. The system of voice filling of medical documentation Voice2Med was tested for 3 months in city clinic No. 1 of the city of Tyumen. Based on testing the decision on acquisition of 50 licenses and implementation of technology in medical institutions of the Tyumen region was made. Use of Voice2Med will allow not only to accelerate process, but also will release time for accomplishment by employees of other tasks.

Voice2Med is a product of artificial intelligence which allows to fill out in real time medical documents, transforming a voice of the doctor to the text. During the research the doctor using the special microphone dictates information which is decrypted and is automatically transferred to the open protocol of a medical information system.

High quality of speech recognition and connection of topic language models provide completely completed medical protocol requiring a minimum of adjustments. Voice2Med also saves time of doctors: filling of documentation with voice happens on average 22% quicker, than a traditional method. Now specialists can fill out the protocol in parallel with work on the medical equipment.

Voice2Med will correctly recognize all medical terms and expressions, and reliability of recognition reaches 97–98%. Except significant saving of time, the solution allows to improve ergonomics of jobs and it is essential to increase quality of medical documentation. The solution already works in departments of radiodiagnosis of city clinics of Moscow, in medical institutions of Mordovia, Perm, Murmansk, Penza. We welcome its application in the Tyumen region and further scaling.
