In Raduga printing house the Russia's first flagman is set to the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14000 CFM 

On October 29, 2020 the Konica Minolta company announced completion of installation and process of commissioning of the digital AccurioPress C14000 printing machine in Raduga printing house. Installation of AccurioPress C14000 in Raduga became the first in Russia.

The Raduga printing house was founded in 1999 and specializes in release of books in soft, firm and integrated covers; magazines and directories, calendars and also broad spectrum of advertizing and representative products. The park of a printing equipment of the enterprise includes both offset, and digital printing machines.

According to the CEO of Rainbow Raphael Gaynulin, high loading and also a number of technology factors became the reason of acquisition of the equipment.

In selection process of the digital printing machine by the management of Rainbow proposals of two producers of digital printing machines then the decision to give preference to the CFM from Konica Minolta — AccurioPress C14000 with the powerful controller of printing Creo IC-316 was made were in detail studied.

A series flagman sheet was announced by the CFM of Konica Minolta which belongs to the class High production at the end of 2019. It occupied a niche between sheet tonerny the AccurioPess C6085/C6100 CFM and by the sheet jet UF-machine KM-1 of B2 format. A series includes two models — AccurioPress C14000 and AccurioPress C12000 differing mainly in the maximum speed of printing which is respectively 140 and 120 A4/mines and does not depend on density of the sealed material. It is also important to note the high maximum loads inherent to this class of machines: the peak volume of printing of this model is 2.5 million A4/month pages.

The maximum density of the sealed material with which machines can work reaches the impressing 450 g/m2 that allows to use them including for printing of limited cardboard packaging.

Standard cartridges with vacuum giving allow to submit reliably sheets a format to 330х487 mm, but at the request of the customer the machine can be understaffed with the optional giving devices. For example, in Rainbow the tray of manual giving allowing to print on so-called banners up to 1300 mm long is set. Such feature allows printing house to release book jackets, landscape brochures and other specific products requiring an opportunity for work with sheets of a big format. For submission of sheets up to 900 mm long high-capacity cartridges with three trays are released.

Printing quality at the machines AccurioPress C14000 and C12000 grew thanks to higher resolution of exposure — now it reaches 2400х3600 dpi — and also to use of the improved toner. It melts at lower temperatures, than his predecessor and also has duller surface on papers without covering and more brilliant — on glossy materials.

It should be noted also the high level of automation of AccurioPress C14000. For example, the sensor of paper allows to determine thickness, density and the invoice of a surface of the used paper and to select from the loaded library the most suitable material with the corresponding settings, and the corporate module IQ-501 with the built-in spectrophotometer and two scanners is the irreplaceable tool providing automatic preparation of the machine and stable high quality printing in the course of work.

Possibilities of the machine not only close our current demands, but also leave a backlog on the future. The high print speed and an opportunity to print about 1 million A4/month in the normal mode guarantees us operational and stable printing of orders even during the periods of peak loading, and possibilities of the machine in terms of formats and density allow even to expand several a range of services for clients.
