2020: AccurioPress C4080

On December 17, 2020 the Konica Minolta company presented at the Russian market a series of machines for digital printing of AccurioPress C4080. It is suitable for operational printing of short circulations in offset printing houses.

AccurioPress C4080

According to the company, printing machines of the AccurioPress C4080 series including also the AccurioPress C4070 and AccurioPrint C4065 models support work with a broad spectrum of carriers, providing an opportunity one - and two-sided printing on different types of paper with a density up to 360 g/m ² — including impressive and with a covering. The maximum length of sheets is 1300 mm at one-sided printing and 864 mm — at bilateral. The print speed makes 81 pages of A4 format a minute. The sensor of materials for assessment of density, the invoice and thickness of paper is included in the package.

AccurioPress C4080 has enhanced capabilities of finishing processing and production of brochures – for example, a broshyurovka on the spring and sewing on a bracket. Also the CFM supports automatic correction of quality in real time and integration into software applications for optimization of workflows.

Together with AccurioPress C4080 and C4070 controllers of printing of IC-609 Konica Minolta and EFI Fiery IC-317 can be used. AccurioPrint C4065 can be completed with the built-in Konica Minolta IC-607 or EFI Fiery IC-419 controllers.

Besides, the model is equipped with the module of undercutting TU-510 which is also delivered by the company — earlier it was already tested as a part of the systems of printing AccurioPress C14000. TU-510 represents the trimmer with undercutting from four parties and the bending module. Thanks to undercutting of fields of banners it helps to make booklets, leaflets and business cards. Vozmzhonost of scoring and perforation of prints to the line are optionally available.

AccurioPress C4080 supports a number of automatic functions: linearization of a system of printing, a register mark at two-sided printing, profiling. Also this model provides calibration of the controller and validation according to standards of a digital and offset printing.

In the CFM the technology of processing of color of the next generation Screen-Enhancing Active Digital Process is used (S.E.A.D.) Konica Minolta. The intelligent system of quality control of IQ-501 allows to carry out automatic correction of color in real time and creation of color icc-profiles.

On AccurioPress 4080 the solution package of AccurioPro Konica Minolta is set. It helps to manage tasks and color of products.

The CFM of the AccurioPress C4080 series belongs to models of initial level. In a line of devices of Konica Minolta it will replace C3080 series models.

AccurioPress C14000 и C12000

On October 24, 2019 the Konica Minolta company provided a series of the high-performance systems of digital printing which the machines AccurioPress C14000 and C12000 entered.

According to the statement of Konica Minolta, AccurioPress C14000 about 140 prints of A4 format in a minute are capable to make. The second model in a series, AccurioPress C12000, with a performance of 120 pages of A4 a minute provides the same high quality of a print. The provided models belong to discharge of the high-performance systems of tonerny printing which will help customers to expand and improve business due to implementation of advanced technologies of automation, decrease in human participation in production process and performance improvements. All this leads to increase in production efficiency and decrease in resources consumptions. Provided to the CFM will give to clients ample opportunities for business development, optimization of operating activities and decrease in total cost of ownership (TCO) at the expense of faster investment payback.

According to the producer, AccurioPress C14000 closes a segment of high-performance printing, offering ample opportunities on speed, avtomatiziation of processes, to broad support of different carriers and quality of a print. Thus, according to the producer, the model will be suitable for printing houses during the work with exacting customers of books, booklets, materials of addressed mailings and other printed materials.

Enhanced capabilities of an intelligent system of quality control of IQ-501 in combination with the system of automatic inspection of a print allow to guarantee stable quality at any circulation, estimating compliance of a color rendition and excepting undesirable elements on a print (such as bands, spots and other defects). The AccurioPress C14000 and C12000 systems provide high stability of production, and the improved register mark and quality of a print allow to increase total amounts of printed materials. Passing of tests according to the BS 5609 specification

Konica Minolta announced on March 14, 2019 that the uzkorulonny label system of printing of AccurioLabel 190, along with the digital systems of printing AccurioPress C6100 and C3080 in combination with AA449 Lasercopy carriers from Avery Dennison, received certificates of BS 5609 (internationally recognized standard of Great Britain 5609 for the self-adhesive labels used in the conditions of permanent contact with sea water). Obtaining the certificate of HCD-PP in confirmation of conformity of ISO/IEC 15408

On February 19, 2019 Konica Minolta reported that nine of its products, including the AccurioPress C6100 CFM , received the certificates of conformity of specification 1.0 (HCD-PP) confirming fulfillment of requirements to security of the printing devices installed by the international standard ISO/IEC 15408 for digital MFPs (multifunction devices).

The requirement specification to protection of printing HCD-PP devices (Protection Profile for Hardcopy Devices) was initially developed for government agencies of Japan and the USA. It contains specifications and the safety requirements obligatory for the purchased MFPs. In particular, for obtaining the certificate of conformity of HCD-PP producers of the printing equipment had to undergo strict testing of efficiency of enciphering of the saved data and safe information transfer between devices.

Certificates of conformity of the HCD-PP specification were received by the digital printing systems AccurioPress C6100, AccurioPress C6085, AccurioPress C2070, AccurioPress C2070P, AccurioPress C2060, AccurioPress 6136, AccurioPress 6136P and AccurioPress 6120 and also the productive printing bizhub PRO 1100 system.

The certificates of conformity of HCD-PP issued Konica Minolta companies confirm that all products which are listed above use highly effective security technologies which allow to protect data of users from relevant threats. Konica Minolta is sure that use of these solutions will help to reduce risk of loss or leak of confidential information of clients.

ЦПМ Konica Minolta AccurioPress C83hc

On November 28, 2018 the Konica Minolta company presented at the Russian market the advanced digital system of printing with the color scope approximate to sRGB space – AccurioPress C83hc. According to the producer, the provided machine of the High Chroma series is capable to reproduce the majority of the flowers seen on screens of monitors and in normal life on the carrier.

As noted in Konica Minolta, the AccurioPress C83hc CFM uses a toner of High Chroma of fourth generation. Thanks to an algorithm of color conversion of sRGB in own scope of a system, owners of the machine have a printability both in the normal CMYK mode, and in the mode of expanded color range: colors on a print will precisely match the colors on the monitor. This feature of a system allows to improve transmission quality of corporal half tones, gradation, to expand a range of emulation of mixed flowers (for example, from Pantone libraries). From the printing house provided to the CFM and advertizing agencies will be able to increase quality and a range of products due to use of non-standard materials and growth of level of service, thereby increasing profitability of own business.

In the modern world information is transmitted through the most different communication channels: printed materials, electronic content, augmented reality. Color at the same time has one of key values by search and fast identification of the necessary contents. Ensuring accuracy and constancy of color in communication messages – always a difficult task. AccurioPress C83hc provides a quality printing of photos with intense, realistic colors and also more exact reproduction of die flowers in comparison with the standard CMYK systems, emphasized in Konica Minolta.

According to the statement of the producer, provided to the CFM it is constructed on the modern printing mechanism from Konica Minolta and has all advantages of advanced technologies. Preparation processes for printing, settings of quality and control of constancy of color in circulation can be executed in completely automatic mode and without stopping printing thanks to a connectivity of the intelligent module of quality control of IQ-501. With its help creation of color profiles and profiles of emulation, accuracy of combination of person/turnover and some other the functions exempting the operator from accomplishment of routine transactions is also provided. AccurioPress C83hc can work with carriers with a density up to 350 g/m2, print on banners long up to 1300 mm, in duplex – to a format 330 x 762 mm. A system can be equipped with cartridges with vacuum pickup of the sheet, a number of the automated modules of control and setup of quality and also the broadest choice of finishers in the industry to the line. Control of printing is exercised using own Hikari controller from Konica Minolta, or a number of solutions of EFI. The maximum loading of paper – 11 trays with a total capacity up to 15,390 sheets.

Release of a line productive AccurioPress C3080 CFM 

On March 29, 2018 the Konica Minolta company announced start of a line of productive digital printing systems (CFM ) of AccurioPress C3080 which will replace AccurioPress C2070. A series combines high quality and performance of the previous models with additional functions and options which adapt to individual requirements of the customer. According to the producer, AccurioPress C3080 is also urged to increase profitability of printing houses thanks to business process optimization of the customer and an opportunity to offer clients additional formats of printing.

AccurioPress C3080 CFM 

The Konica Minolta company noted advantages of a line of AccurioPress C3080 – high quality of printing and support of a broad spectrum of carriers. Capacity of the CFM is 81 p/min. A4 in the color and monochrome modes. The systems of this series can work with dense carriers of different types, for example, with paper with a covering or stamping with a density up to 350 g/m2. Thanks to the high-capacity module and automatic two-sided printing on banners up to 762 mm long the organization of effective production of different lengthy products, covers for books and the menu in three additions is possible. The system of automatic control and maintenance of quality together with simultaneous loading up to 15,390 sheets provide the maximum time of continuous work.

With high volumes of printing will be suitable for commercial printing houses and departments of the centralized printing of the large companies to the CFM of the AccurioPress C3070/C3080/P series. Systems allow to make and process different digital materials, help to automate document flow processes, are well integrated with already available park of the equipment, provide constancy of color, stability of the image and high quality of printing and also can be equipped with different professional modules of postprinting processing to the line, noted in Konica Minolta.

Presetup of the machines AccurioPress C3080(P) and quality control in circulation in completely automatic mode are executed by the module of quality control IQ-501. With its help routine transactions, calibration and profiling of a system are performed by clicking of one button. Execute all operations on preprinting setup, control of each separate print in circulation the operator without special preparation can. It allows to reduce time of data entry and number of errors.

The CFM can complete with the single-pass automatic feeder of originals processing up to 240 images per minute. It is equipped with the built-in sensor of double capture and guarantees scanning of each original in a pack without admissions and repetitions. The print speed on envelopes is also raised.

The OpenAPI interface allows to perform interaction of devices of productive printing and solutions of external suppliers for accounting, authentication or routing of the scanned materials. The internal IWS Web server helps to configure individually the user interface depending on the tasks which are carried out by the operator.

The AccurioPress C2070 Konica Minolta CFM received the certificate of Fogra

The Konica Minolta AccurioPress C2070 productive digital printing machines (DPM) of an initial and average segment passed in the summer 20147 years a number of tests and received the certificate on right to use as the systems of printing of a coloring test from the German association of researches of graphic Fogra technologies.

Testing was held by a number of criteria in different configurations and under different conditions of printing. Compliance to requirements of group of the PDF/X standards was checked, testing of the carrier on color, gloss of a surface and fluorescent properties and also the color rendition accuracy, uniformity of the reproduced flowers, iznoso-and light resistance of a print is held.

At tests resistance to fading, recurrence of flowers on long and short circulations, wear resistance of prints, accuracy of color performance, border of a color scope, image register mark accuracy, resolution capability and possibilities of an output of the additional information were also considered. Each of series machines under control of one of the supported printing controllers received the certificate of conformity from EFI Fiery, CREO or Konica Minolta to requirements of Fogra.

The AccurioPress C2070 CFM from Konica Minolta combines an excellent color rendition and stability of a register mark of the image with exclusive printing quality. Thanks to the improved work with dense paper the range of the carriers used for printing considerably extended, in particular, printing on chalk overlay and textured paper with a density up to 350 g/m2 is possible. Besides, the new module for drawing printing of banners was added. Thanks to high-capacity, it provides effective giving of carriers up to 750 mm long, for example, of covers and jackets for books. The print speed on envelopes doubled in comparison with the previous series of the bizhub PRESS C1070 systems, and the new color onepass scanner can work at speed up to 240 originals a minute. It is equipped with the mechanism of detection of capture of the double sheet thanks to which the admission of originals when scanning is excluded.

AccurioPress С6100

On August 9, 2017 Konica Minolta provided AccurioPress C6100 – a line of high-performance TsMP for color print. The equipment is intended for color print of average and big circulations.

As a part of a line of AccurioPress C6100 Series two models – C6085 (performance – 85 p. a minute) and C6100 (100 p. a minute). They replaced the bizhub C1100 and C1085 models. These are created by the CFM for customers who need to expand volumes of digital printing, and that who prints big circulations regularly.

These productive machines are developed with the purpose to reduce a set-up time and to provide printing of excellent quality with high reliability and stability. Functions of a color setting, control of density and color rendition, data of the front and turnover parties of a print are completely automated. Characteristics of the CFM , including stability of paper feed, support of a broad spectrum of carriers with a density from 52 g/m ² up to 400 g/m ², including on synthetic carriers, self-adhesive and textured papers are improved. For an economic letter printing the special node of fixing is offered.

In machines own development of the company – a toner of Simitri HD E is used. It has the low temperature of fixing, high rates of flowability and resistance to physical impact that provides to digital prints similarity to an offset printing, saving the natural invoice of the carrier.

The machines AccurioPress C6100 and C6085 will be available to the order in Russia in September, 2017.
