2020: Representation of a lidar of DJI Zenmuse L1

The Skymec company, the distributor and integrator of the pilotless solutions DJI in Russia and the CIS countries, presented the industrial solution — a lidar of DJI Zenmuse L1. It became known on October 30, 2020. The scanner is intended for creation of topographical plans and digital models of a relief and also for management of all cycle of the project by means of high-precision point clouds and 3D models.

Lidar of DJI Zenmuse L1 — the ultraprecise device working on the module of a laser lidar Livox Lidar c as inertial measuring modules (IMU, Inertial Measurement Unit) and with the built-in camera with the 1-inch sensor on the 3-axial stabilized suspension. At a combination with industrial drone Matrice 300 RTK and based on SOFTWARE DJI Terra the lidar of DJI Zenmuse creates the full solution which provides 3D - data fixes parts of complex structures and creates ultraprecise models of objects.

The laser device determines range through light and collects data from the drone in real time. The device fixes complex structures and designs detailed 3D models. This technology is most demanded in the field of the mining industry, an agriculture and city planning. By means of the analysis of the soil and air, for example, it is possible to select places for fertile fields from agriculture.

In the mining industry lidarny technologies are an integral part. Use of the UAV with lidars allow to obtain exact information on natural surfaces and infrastructure, to build 3D models of holes and contour maps and also to calculate production volumes in general. It also considerably reduces human risks and reduces expenses on use of the expensive equipment — the representative of Skymec company, the surveyor Roman Oleynichenko explained.
