BFTs and Red Soft will transfer public authorities of the Kaliningrad region to domestic to software

2020: The agreement with Red Soft and BFT for the purpose of implementation of domestic software in the region

On September 22, 2020 in Kaliningrad there took place the meeting within which the Ministry of digital technologies and communications of the region, the BFT Company and RED SOFT Company signed the tripartite agreement about cooperation. In its framework a number of joint actions for transition of public authorities of the Kaliningrad region to use of the Russian software will be held. Also in the region will consider the possibility of creation of the resource center for promoting of domestic software. On September 23, 2020 the BFT company reported about it.

The regional project "Digital Public Administration" in the Kaliningrad region provides step-by-step replacement of foreign software tools with domestic. As the minister of digital technologies and communication of the Kaliningrad region Vadim Ryskal notes, in 2020 70% of all purchased software will make the systems of the Russian production.

Within the signed cooperation in executive authorities of the region approbation Russian will be carried out operating system RED OS. Until the end of 2020 all preparatory work will be carried out, and by the beginning of 2021 specific authorities for pilot implementation of RED will be defined OS.

Besides, based on the Ministry of digital technologies and communication of the Kaliningrad region the possibility of creation of the resource center for the purpose of promoting of domestic software is considered. For effective implementation of the domestic software in the region it is going to hold conferences, fact-finding seminars, training courses, technical maintenance.
