Since the beginning of 2020 on November 10 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs spent more than 77 million rubles for creation and implementation of the equipment for cracking of smartphones. Drew the attention of "MBH of media" to it, having studied information on the portal of state procurements.
In total department placed 44 tenders. As journalists found out, most of all – 59.1 million rubles – the Ministry of Internal Affairs selected for hardware-software complexes (HSC) "for removal, a research and data analysis from mobile devices". The ministry does not specify the name of the equipment. According to documents, such complexes can crack and take information, including the hidden and remote data, from mobile devices on operating systems Apple iOS Android BlackBerry Symbian, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone. The average price of one set is 1.5 million rubles. The equipment, according to the edition, is made abroad.
In documents "the impossibility of observance of restriction for the admission of the radio-electronic products coming from the foreign states" is specified.
The edition claims that 15 million more rubles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs selected for the software "Mobile criminalist" from the Russian producer "Oxygen Software". The program allows to load and analyze the billings received from cellular operators and also to take files, data on the device, accounts and passwords. On delivery of this software 27 tenders were announced.
Also department selected 3.2 million rubles for the hardware and software systems UFED of the Israeli producer Cellebrite, journalists specify. The company claims that at physical access their equipment allows to crack devices on Android and also iPhone and to download from them information, including correspondence in Telegram, said in the publication "MBH of Media".[1]
