In Tambov will digitize Vyacheslav Grozdov's diaries

2020: Beginning of digitization of diaries of Vyacheslav Grozdov

Using ELARSKAN in Non-state memorial house museum archbishop Luka will digitize Vyacheslav Grozdov's diaries which the teenager kept daily from 1941 to 1945. On November 11, 2020 the Elar company reported about it.

Work on digitization of documents undergoes within implementation of the large-scale historical and memorial project "Ascension to the Victory. Reading Vyacheslav Grozdov's diaries. 1941-1945".

Within the educational project on a complex of planetary scanning Elarskan A2-400 will digitize personal historical records in which the boy Slava tells about military everyday life and holidays. Also will create electronic copies of drawings of the author of diaries and his father - the outstanding Tambov surgeon Tikhon Mitrofanovich Grozdov working in evakogospitalyakh Tambov together with the surgeon, professor, the doctor of medicine archbishop Luka (Voyno-Yasenetsky). In total more than 2000 pages of diaries, more than 100 drawings, documents and photos will be digitized.

Electronic copies will be used for creation of a mobile multimedia display at the exhibition "Ascension to the Victory. Reading Vyacheslav Grozdov's diaries. 1941-1945" which will be exposed from December, 2020 to August, 2021 at the Tambov universities, medical college, theological seminary, house of veterans of war and work, - told in the museum. Electronic copies will be used also for creation of the e-book according to Vyacheslav Grozdov's diaries which will be posted on the website svtluka-ikc.ru.

Further the equipment ELAR will be used for digitization of collections of memorial house museum of the archbishop Luka - objects, documents, photos, letters, sermons of the hierarch and surgeon archbishop Luka and his environment, - the chief researcher of the Tambov regional museum of local lore, the curator of memorial house museum of the archbishop Luka, the curator of the project, the cofounder of ANO Historical and Cultural Center of a Name of the Prelate Luka, the honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation Galina Aleksandrovna Abramova tells. - Besides, digitization of rare collections of graphics, hand-written and old printing books of the 17-19th centuries of the Tambov regional museum of local lore is supposed.

The museum noted that for them it was essentially important to have the equipment which allows to work in high quality and the sparing mode with rare museum objects.
