2020: Implementation of the platform of telemedicine

G-Core Labs reported on November 18, 2020 that they together with Wagner Group implemented the platform of telemedicine of the last generation in Luxembourg.

In connection with the outbreak of a coronavirus and the global crisis which followed it, all professions appeared under the threat, especially it concerns workers of the medical sphere. As one of measures for control of spread of a virus and protection of citizens and workers the government of Luxembourg charged to the state agency eSante to implement the platform of telemedicine eConsult. Wagner Group and G-Core Labs became technical partners of the project.

The eConsult platform allows patients to carry out online consultations with the doctors, stomatologists or obstetricians. Consultations can take place in audio-and video formats.

It allows doctors to write out recipes and it is safe to exchange medical documents and analysis results with patients. Service is compatible to all popular operating systems and devices, including smartphones, tablets and notebooks.

Considering very infectious nature of a virus, we had to find means which will help to reduce risk of infection, but at the same time will allow professionals to treat the patients, being at the same time in security. It also resulted in the idea of deployment of eConsult — Hervé Barge, the director of the state agency eSanté said.

The eConsult platform is available to all medical professionals, inhabitants and workers of Luxembourg.

Wagner Group acted as the main technical adviser of the project. The solution is located in the selected cloud environment developed by G-Core Labs in cooperation with Wagner Group on the platform of data center of EDH Tier 4 in Luxembourg.

Nobody was ready to such situation, it was at the same time improbable problem and an opportunity, our commands worked round the clock and we managed to deploy completely functional and safe solution which thousands of patients and professionals use — André Raytenbakh, the managing director of G-Core Labs says.

The solution allows patients to receive high-quality medical care far off that was especially important during initial splash in a pandemic and will remain relevant before completion of crisis.
