Services

Cloud Use Cases

Accelerate your site and make it available

  • Online store sites should be ready for a constant increase in traffic and for peak loads due to various events and promotions (Black Fridays, New Year days, etc.).
  • These factors significantly increase the requirements for IT infrastructure and cause a regular increase in the cost of acquiring and maintaining new server capacities.
  • To effectively solve these problems, you can go to the cloud, and to quickly load an online store with an assortment of tens or even hundreds of thousands of items, it is also recommended to connect CDN.

Quickly develop and test your own services

  • Continuous development of new services and products is one of the main conditions for survival in e-commerce.
  • Retailers regularly improve user interfaces, personal accounts, mobile applications, loyalty programs, and experiment with design. This requires powerful resources.
  • All these tasks are perfectly solved in the cloud. In addition, it is easy to isolate isolated test environments for third-party access and for various pilot projects.

AI and Big data services for customer behavior analysis and demand forecasting

  • With a variety of consumer information, retailers use artificial intelligence and big data analysis systems to attract and retain customers.
  • As a rule, the volume of data processed is huge, and the classic IT infrastructure does not always cope with the load. To achieve the required processing speed, you can place databases and analytical platforms in the cloud.

Protect against site and infrastructure DDoS attacks

  • In 2020, more than half of online retailers noticed an increase in the frequency and power of DDoS attacks.
  • Attacks are carried out on any infrastructure - both classic and cloud. But to protect against DDoS attacks based on your own equipment, large financial investments are required. For example, the price of a specialized software and hardware complex can reach tens of millions of rubles (excluding technical support, maintenance and salaries of employees).
  • To significantly save, it is better to protect comprehensively with the help of a specialized service.

Development and deployment of internal services

  • Recently, it has become popular for retailers to transfer internal services to the cloud (financial and ERP systems; logistics services; self-service portals; Internet telephony; information security, etc.)
  • Retailers realized that there is no need to host many local servers in branches or stores - it is enough to organize access to the cloud, ensuring that applications are launched and data is stored in it.
