2022: Raising $600,000 in investments

In mid-July 2022, it became known about investing $600 thousand in Insmart. Roman Kurdoev and Igor Zorin, founders of the IT solutions developer for the AgentApp insurance market, have invested in the marketplace for insurance agents.

The deal Forbes was announced by Insmart co-founder Denis Mishin, who was previously responsible for sales in various IT companies, was engaged in the implementation of mining equipment and managed his own small mobile application development studio. According to him startup , it was valued by investors at $5 million. The terms of the investment agreement provide that subsequently new investors will be able to buy out part of the shares of previous depositors, as well as the founders of the company themselves, if all the supplied KPIs are achieved.

The Insmart team intends to spend the investment attracted in July 2022 on marketing, launching new insurance products, increasing the team and entering the b2c market.

The Insmart marketplace connects insurance agents and other intermediaries in obtaining insurance with insurance companies. With its help, intermediaries can sell clients policies on MTPL CASCO and mortgages. By entering client data on the platform, they receive offers from insurance companies, can choose from them the most profitable under the terms and form a link to payment for the client. Also, through the platform, agents can receive rewards from insurance companies and display them on their card. Insmart earns fees from each policy sold.[1]

2020: Investments from ex-Delivery Club partner Ruslan Gafurov

In November 2020, InsSmart announced the attraction of investments from the ex-partner of Delivery Club Ruslan Gafurov. The size of investments is not specified, but the share that the investor received in the project is 7.5%. Earlier, InsSmart also received investments from IT entrepreneur Dmitry Shklyar.

The startup intends to spend the funds received on increasing the audience of the service and expanding the product line. On November 19, 2020, InsSmart reported that over the past year, the company's business has more than tripled, which was also facilitated by the coronavirus pandemic. 2021 year, the company expects to increase its business by 4 times, including adding new products.

The startup cites data according to which the Russian insurance market in 2020 will reach 1.5 trillion rubles, of which only 4.68% of sales of insurance products will be on the Internet channel.[2]
