On November 23, 2020 it became known of emergence of the systems of face recognition on an input in the Russian bank departments. One of the first such technology was implemented by Alfa-Bank — he set it at four offices. In the next years the credit institution intends to start a system more than in 300 branches.
As told Izvestia in Alfa-Bank, the biometric system installed on an input in department will accelerate customer service as she automatically writes the person in an electronic queue. When obtaining the coupon in the terminal the computer welcomes the person by name and shows the service offerings targetted specially on it and services on the screen.
Besides, identification on the person helps to avoid a client fraud – a system can compare clients to "black" lists of bank and define swindlers already on an input in department.
The biometric LUNA platform from VisionLabs company helps to identify the client in real time. A system defines the person in a video flow, selects with it the best frame and normalizes it. To avoid spoofing attacks, algorithms Liveness also check that on video the living person. If confirmation is received, recognition process begins, explained in VisionLabs.
In addition to Alfa-Bank, front identification by November 23, 2020 is tested in divisions VTB, and the Otkrytiye bank studies a pilot project on stream recognition of citizens, representatives of credit institutions told.
The Post Bank reported that develop technology which will allow to identify already acting clients among visitors of Russian Post.
