CB Renaissance Credit (LLC), one of the banks of the consumer lending sector in Russia, offers individuals consumer loans, bank cards, deposits and other services.

Founded in 2003, Renaissance Credit is one of the TOP-100 largest Russian banks and operates with 13 million customers in Russia. The geography of Renaissance Credit covers 61 regions of Russia. The bank has been assigned ratings: Standard and Poor's - B, ACRA - BBB- (RU).

The main owner of Renaissance Credit is ONEXIM Group, one of the leading Russian investors, which owns a diversified portfolio of assets in the financial services, mining, real estate, energy and high technologies sectors. Bank of Russia Banking Licence No. 3354.

Tasks

The growth of the business of Renaissance Credit Bank required a global update of the corporate resource. A tool was needed that could unite all employees in a single information space, become an element of the modern bank's HR strategy and ensure maximum employee involvement in the workflow. The previous version of the corporate portal did not support many technological innovations that could be used in work. New versions of individual services and platforms have appeared, the design of the current system is outdated.

Renaissance Credit modernizes corporate portal

The bank's management decided to modernize the corporate portal to improve the efficiency of interaction and convenience of working services. Looking ahead, we can note that the updated version created a good "margin of safety" of a single information environment, which allowed the bank to quickly respond to any business situation, and employees to receive information in real time.

To work on the modernization, Consyst Business Group specialists were involved, who have extensive experience in projects to automate the processes of the corporate environment of large companies. As part of the pre-project survey, several key blocks were identified that require improvement:

  • Knowledge base that required consolidation of corporate information
  • To work with templates of operational documentation, a more convenient navigation system was needed
  • The out-of-work information repository needed conceptual reworking. Galleries with photographs, author blogs, the forum were supposed to become important elements of the bank's corporate culture, contributing to the unification of employees and the development of cross-functional communications. One of the key business objectives of the modernization project was to reduce the adaptation time of new bank employees, which has a direct impact on the efficiency of the growing branch network.

The internal portal is an important feedback tool: through surveys and hotlines, we better understand the mood of our employees and find out what they are concerned about at the moment. This enables us to adjust our HR strategy and address existing communication gaps. All this is extremely important to increase employee engagement and loyalty to the company.

For the convenience of working with the new version of the portal, when updating sections, the pages of departments were highlighted on which you can post operational working information. When you first go to the enterprise portal, an interactive page opens with instructions and convenient navigation, which allows you to quickly search for the information you need. On the one hand, this is a fairly simple update, but it minimized the risk of not accepting the updated tool. Taking into account the fact that the portal is used not only in the central office, but also remotely with access from branches throughout Russia, it was important to ensure the most comfortable mode of familiarization and further use.

Decision

During the project, the developers and consultants of Consyst Business Groups were faced with the tasks of designing a design concept in accordance with the new capabilities of the SharePoint platform, updating partitions and technical migration to a new version. The work used the services of the TOPS Intranet Portal solution, which made it possible to shorten the project implementation period.

The design of the portal has been completely updated in accordance with the new concept, the main page has been redesigned and the algorithm of the personal account has been changed. It became possible to aggregate information from different sources, the principle of working with information subscribed to the user has changed. The principle of working with basic directories was also changed, which made it possible to reduce the time for searching for information. New versions of the photo and video gallery have expanded the possibilities for placing media content on the portal.

Special attention was paid to the start of the new version of the portal. The entire solution was migrated at the same time after hours, so for most users, the portal was updated without affecting the workflow.

Result

Today, the Renaissance Credit corporate portal is not only a distributed information platform for solving many work problems, but also access to services: directories, polls, news feed, booking meeting rooms, gallery, etc.

As a result of the project, the new portal made it possible to involve employees in the internal corporate life of the bank. Separate sections of the site allowed employees to plan their leisure activities in accordance with their interests and take part in projects organized by the bank. This has become an important element in the formation of staff loyalty, which is an important factor in the development of the bank in a highly competitive environment. The modern internal resource has increased the efficiency of each employee, regardless of where in the country he operates, which has a positive effect on the productivity of each department and the entire bank as a whole.

The portal is the main source of information for employees of our geographically distributed company, working in 60 cities throughout Russia. Thanks to the presence of a corporate site, we can feel like a single large team.

This was an interesting project for a large corporate customer who pays attention to the development of HR strategy. We developed a solution that can develop harmoniously together with the development of the bank's business. The new version of the corporate portal will provide quick access to information, which is extremely important in today's online-focused business.
