CB Renessans Credit (LLC), one of banks of the sector of consumer crediting in Russia, offers individuals consumer loans, bank cards, deposits and other services.
Renaissance of the Credit founded in 2003 is included into TOP 100 of the largest Russian banks and works with 13 million clients in Russia. The activity geography Renaissance of the Credit covers 61 regions of Russia. Scores are assigned to bank: Standard and Poor’s – B, the ACRE – BBB-(RU).
Renaissance of the Credit is the main owner Group of ONEXIM, one of the leading Russian investors who owns the diversified asset portfolio in the field of financial services, ore mining industry, the real estate, power and high technologies. License of the Bank of Russia for banking operations No. 3354.
Tasks
Growth of business of Renaissance Credit bank required global updating of a corporate resource. The tool which could integrate all employees in a common information space was necessary, to become an element of HR strategy of modern bank and to provide the maximum involvement of employees into workflow. The previous version of a corporate portal did not support many technology innovations which could be used in work. There were new versions of separate services and the platform, the design of the current system became outdated.
The management of bank made the decision to upgrade a corporate portal for increase in efficiency of interaction and convenience of working services. Running forward, it is possible to note that upgraded version created good 'margin of safety' of unified information environment that allowed bank to react quickly to any business situation, and to the employees to obtain information in real time.
The specialists of Consist Business Group company having wide experience of projects of process automation of corporate environment of the large companies were involved to work on upgrade. Within preproject inspection several key blocks requiring improvement were selected:
- The knowledge base which required consolidation of corporate information
- More convenient system of navigation was necessary for work with templates of operational documentation
- The storage of extra working information needed conceptual processing. Galleries with photos, author's blogs, a forum had to become the important elements of corporate culture of bank promoting consolidation of employees and development of cross-functional communications. Reduction of time of adaptation of new employees of the bank became one of key business challenges of the project of upgrade that has a direct impact on efficiency of the growing branch network.

For convenience of work with the new version of the portal when updating sections pages of divisions on which it is possible to place operational working information were selected. Upon the first transition to a corporate portal the interactive page with the instruction and convenient navigation which allows to look for the necessary information quickly opens. On the one hand, this rather simple updating, but it minimized risk of rejection of the updated tool. Taking into account that the portal is used not only at the central office, but also far off with access from branches across all territory of Russia, it was important to provide the most comfortable mode of acquaintance and further use. |
Solution
During the project developers and consultants of Consist Business Group were faced by problems of design of the design concept according to new opportunities of the SharePoint platform, updating of sections and technical migration on the new version. In work services the solutions TOPS Intranet Portal were used that allowed to reduce a project deadline.
The design of the portal was completely updated according to the new concept, the homepage was processed and the operation algorithm of a personal account is changed. There was a possibility of aggregation of information from different sources, the principle of work with information on which the user is signed changed. Also the principle of work with basic reference books was changed that allowed to reduce time for information search. New versions of a photo and video of gallery expanded opportunities for placement of media content on the portal.
Special attention was paid to start of work of the new version of the portal. Transfer of all solution was made in one step in time off therefore for most of users updating of the portal happened without influence on workflow.
Result
Today the Renaissance Credit corporate portal is not only distributed information site for the solution of a set of working tasks, but also access to services: to reference books, polls, news feed, armoring negotiation, gallery, etc.
In a project deliverable the new portal allowed to involve employees in internal life of bank. Separate headings of the website allowed employees to plan the leisure according to the interests and to take part in the projects organized by bank. It became an important element in formation of loyalty of personnel that is an important factor of development of bank in the highly competitive environment. The modern internal resource increased efficiency of each employee, independently in what point of the country it performs activity that positively influences performance of each department and all bank in general.
The portal is the main source of obtaining information for the staff of our geographically distributed company working in 60 cities across all Russia. Thanks to existence of the corporate website we can feel a uniform big command. |
