The vaccine against a coronavirus "Sputnik of V" will be manufactured also in Hungary, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriyev reported on November 24, 2020.

We expand our production capacities. At the moment we are going to produce more than 500 million rates of vaccines, i.e. actually more than 1 billion vaccines in 2021 due to our international partnership in such countries as India, Korea, Brazil, China, other countries. We will manufacture in Hungary — he said at a briefing (the quote by Interfax).

Earlier in November, 2020 ten samples of the Russian vaccine for laboratory testing came to Hungary. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reported that Hungary can become the first European Union country in which the Russian vaccine will be produced.

The head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry reported that carrying out laboratory researches of the vaccine "Sputnik of V" will allow the Hungarian bodies of health care to understand whether it is possible to begin use of medicine in the territory of the country. Besides, one of the Hungarian pharmaceutical companies received from Russia necessary documentation for production organization of the Russian vaccine.

On November 24, 2020 in RDIF reported that the cost of one dose of the vaccine "Sputnik of V" for international markets will be less than $10. Medicine will be twice cheaper than foreign vaccines with similar levels of efficiency, declared in fund.

The first international supplies of the Russian vaccine "Sputnik of V" to consumers are expected in January, 2021 on the basis of the existing partnership with foreign producers. Those partners who "submitted the application recently will be able to receive the first batches of vaccine since March, 2021", says RDIF of November 24 of the 2020th.

Two doses are necessary for vaccination of one person, and vaccination "for citizens of Russia will be free.[1]
