2022: Rostelecom bought BI Solution

On May 16, 2022, Rostelecom announced the purchase of BI Solution biometrics protection software developer. The company did not disclose the cost and other parameters of the transaction.

According to the press service of Rostelecom, the goals of the acquisition of BI Solution are to strengthen and expand the technological competencies of telecommunications in the field of data protection and biometrics. The operator will continue to actively develop its portfolio of products and services in these areas, Rostelecom said. The company is the operator of the Unified Biometric System in Russia.
