Biography
Vadim Duda in 1991 graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) majoring in "mechanical engineer", having defended the thesis in English. In 2005 received degree of MVA (American Institute of Business and Economics).
In 1984 began the labor activity in MAI library.
From 1991 to 2012 at different positions was engaged in development of the international cooperation, promotion of information technologies.
In 2012-2013 worked as the director of the department of information policy and international relations of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, was the adviser to the Minister of Culture. Participated in creation of the National Digital Library (NDL).
In 2013-2015 as the acting rector of Academy of retraining of workers of art, culture and tourism (APRIKT) dealt with issues of development of libraries in regions, worked on creation of library of the Center of children's creativity in Sochi.
In 2015-2018 held a post of the CEO of the All-Russian state library of foreign literature of M.I. Rudomino.
The order of the Government of the Russian Federation of August 28, 2018 it was appointed the CEO of the Russian state library.
