Smart Storage is the mobile application capable to count quantity, the sizes and inventory quantity in a warehouse by means of technologies of computer vision and machine learning.
2020: Announcement of the Smart Storage platform
On December 14, 2020 the Systems of Computer Vision company (enters into the Lanit group) submitted the platform of computer vision Smart Storage allowing to analyze warehouse stocks at the enterprises.
According to Mikhail Smirnov, the technical director of "The systems of computer vision", the solution shows the high accuracy of calculations — the error makes only 3%. Besides, development easily is implemented at the enterprises, and results are integrated into other systems, for example, by 1C. Smart Storage it is capable to count quantity of pipes, logs, boards and other types of raw materials and timber.
Smart Storage — "brother" of mobile application of Smart Timber which with a high accuracy calculates volumes of the wood put by stacks on the earth or submerged in the timber carrying vessel. The Smart Timber service founded on technologies of computer vision and machine learning was already applied during pilot testing together with timber industry holding Segezha Group on the Segezha PPM. The application solved problems of automation of calculation of dense volume of the wood and coefficient of nontaperity.
"The smart Storage platform is the innovative solution for small and large enterprises. A system helps not only to automate processes of measurements, but also to optimize stock accounting in a warehouse, to provide accounting, to make information available and transparent for users", - Mikhail Smirnov, the technical director of the company of "The system of computer vision" concluded. |
