NP Gidroenergetika Rossii integrates a uniform corporate portal

The Hydropower of Russia non-profit partnership completed the project on creation of a corporate portal based on Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2007. The project is executed by Corus Consulting company.

The project is implemented for the purpose of simplification of interaction of the large companies of a hydropower complex of Russia and integration in a uniform point of industry standards, databases, the results of research works and other projects implemented by Partnership. When developing the portal the corporate design of customer organization is used.

As partnership integrates the largest organizations for all Russia working in the field of hydropower, the tool allowing to build interaction by means of remote access was necessary for the client. Using the portal participants can get access to all results received by Partnership for the entire period of activity from the workplace.

Using the portal the organization of virtual discussions of documents, techniques and other results of project implementation is possible that it significantly reduces time of carrying out approvals and raises extent of accounting of specifics of each member of partnership. Besides, functions of joint work, calendars, the systems of notifications allow to optimize work of executive office of Partnership.

The uniform portal allowed to automate the current functions of executive office – access to library of documents, project management, management of requests and others.
