Navicon updated the ERP system at foreign offices "VTB Capital"

2020: ERP system updating

System integrator Navicon On December 23, 2020 announced end of the large international project covering several countries in different time zones. Navicon helped four offices VTB Capital which are in London Singapore, Hong Kong and Sofia, to upgrade to upgraded version ERP- solutions. IT- specialists transferred with MS Dynamics NAV 2009 to MS Dynamics 365 Business Central seven modules including for December, 2020 30 functional areas and at the same time saved all completions made in the ERP system earlier.

Several years the staff of foreign offices VTB Capital used the ERP system of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 for management of operating activities, but over time it ceased to conform to requirements of the company. The management VTB Capital made the decision to transfer all foreign departments to more failsafe platform. For implementation the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system was selected.

The Navicon system integrator worked with the company within support of the previous ERP system. Within the realizatsiiproyekt IT specialists of Navicon transferred to MS Dynamics Business Central of 7 modules: "Setup of accounting and accounting of magazines", Bank, "Settlement with suppliers", Fixed assets, "Analysis and reporting", "Closing of day", "Integration with other systems". These modules include 30 functional areas. Using them employees VTB Capital can manage all necessary transactions completely. Besides, within the project a system was integrated with seven other solutions which are used in VTB Capital.

For business users it was important to save all completions entered to the first ERP system during its use: they made the solution to the corresponding business processes VTB Capital. Therefore the IT command completely transferred all modifications of MS Dynamics NAV 2009 to MS Dynamics Business Central. Also complete data migration was executed: at the same time specialists of Navicon integrated bases of four offices in one that simplified and accelerated information exchange between branches.

Before updating of the ERP system each of four foreign offices VTB Capital had regulations of its use. After transfer of all modules and data in MS Dynamics Business Central we completely unified processes of work with the solution and provided to each department uniform regulations and also provided training for the staff of the company. In spite of the fact that the project was completely implemented far off, in several countries which are in different time zones, all works were completed in quite short terms. We made the decision on transition to this ERP system for maintenance of further business development. We decided to enable the realization of this project with our old partner Navicon with which fruitfully we cooperate on a number of IT projects. As a result we received a flexible system, cut down license expenses and simplified management of licenses.
