Borlas completed certification of the microwave ProVision II scanners at the Domodedovo airport

2020: Certification of microwave scanners

On December 24, 2020 announced Borlas of the Security Guard Sistems LLC completion of the procedure of certification of the microwave ProVision II scanners at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport according to order of the Government of the Russian Federation N 969.

Within preparation for the procedure the command of Borlas developed the specialized software (SS) necessary for accomplishment of conditions of certification. Open Source allows to perform information transfer from the ProVision II scanners and other devices in a single system of control and collecting of results of technical monitoring using the unified data transfer protocol and can be applied to the equipment undergoing obligatory certification according to Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 969 regarding providing the main requirements of the document.

The radio wave ProVision II scanners are used more than 13 years at the Moscow Domodedovo Airport for automation of the procedure of examination of passengers, with respect for all ethical standards. The lack of uniform requirements to scanners interfered with their application on objects of transport infrastructure that, in turn, led to need of "manual" examination of passengers and reduction of speed of a passenger traffic.

The procedure of certification is carried out by specialists of the Center of the special equipment of FSB of Russia with the assistance of the staff of Federal State Unitary Enterprise STC Orion, Domodedovo Security (DME group) and "Borlas of the Security guard Sistems".

The project on installation of radio wave scanners was begun in 2007 within the solution of a strategic task of the airport on equipment with the last technologies of ensuring aviation security, – the press secretary of the Moscow Domodedovo Airport Alexander Vlasov explained. – The resolution on certification of the equipment demanded creation of the special software in which development our partner "Borlas the Security guard Sistemz" was engaged. Given software not only provided a possibility of passing of certified procedures, but also gave a set of opportunities for systematization of the obtained data.

The development stage and implementations of the special software which was used for carrying out certification is essentially significant within the general long-term project with Domodedovo. Execution of requirements PostanovleniyaNo. 969 represents a labor-consuming task for participants of process. The organization of data transmission in a system and collecting of results of technical monitoring is one of key components of process of preparation for certification passing, and its implementation, in full accordance with requirements of certification authority, was for us the major purpose.
