The GIS TORUS KND is the platform for process automation of control and supervising activity which is created according to the Federal project "Digital Public Administration" entering the national program "Digital Economy of Russia".

2020: Migration on "Red OS"

Scientific Research Institute Voskhod and the domestic developer "RED SOFT" performed migration of the state information system "Standard Cloud Solution of Control (Supervising) Activity" (TORUS KND) on RED OS. Red Soft reported about it on December 28, 2020.

Thanking the TORUS KND planning and conducting checks will become more open and convenient as for inspectors, so for legal entities: all necessary documents will form in electronic form, and a system will automatically analyze results of checks and to quickly reveal signs of violations, based on Big Data. Besides, due to transition to microservice architecture the platform can be scaled and widespread on all three levels of the power in which the corresponding types of control are performed. One more feature the TORUS KND – integration with the federal state information system "Unified Register of Checks" (ERP FSIS).

The TORUS KND is developed by Scientific Research Institute Voskhod within the public contract with the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation.

Transfer of the state information systems on domestic software – one of the most important and complex tasks of import substitution in the field of IT. Within accomplishment of order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 658 GIS developers with the assistance of the Russian producers of operating systems need to select the reliable sanctions and steady environment for work. In addition to entry into the Register of domestic software and existence of the FSTEC certificate of Russia, the operating system should have good functionality due to compatibility with other products and also the clear and usual interface.
