Uniform Client of JaCarta

2021: Release of Uniform Client of JaCarta version 2.13 of Beta

On January 21, 2021 the company"Aladdin R.D.",Russian developer and solution provider for providing information security, announced release of the beta of the Uniform Client of JaCarta PC of 2.13 Beta and the module of support of devices JaCarta for UNIFIED STATE AUTOMATED INFORMATION SYSTEM in operating systems Microsoft Windows and Linux.

The Uniform Client of JaCarta PC of 2.13 Beta is intended for support of functions of strict two-factor authentication, setup and work with models of USB tokens and smart cards of JaCarta, generation of requests for certificates. The version for Microsoft Windows includes the JaCarta SecurLogon component for two-factor authentication without PKI infrastructure.

The module of support of JaCarta devices for the Unified State Automated Information System in the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems provides support of work of electronic keys of JaCarta-2 SE with the Universal Transport Module (UTM) of version 3.x or is higher in the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.

Among key changes in the Uniform Client of JaCarta PC of 2.13 Beta, in comparison with the previous version of the Uniform Client of JaCarta PC 2.12.2, it is mentioned:

• drivers of a kernel mode are certified and signed by service Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher for functioning in the Microsoft Windows operating systems with the included mode of safe loading (UEFI Secure Boot), starting with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Windows Server 2016;
• support of operating systems of the Linux family is added: Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlterOS, ROSA "COBALT" 7.3, ROSA ENTERPRISE LINUX 7.3;
• support of the operating systems which are not recommended is excluded FSTEC of Russia: Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows Server 2003;
• for Astra Linux SE Smolensk OS (versions 1.5 and 1.6) the opportunity for work in the mode of the closed software environment is implemented;
• the application notarization at Apple under Mac OS is executed;
• the PRO minidrivers (for JaCarta PRO USB tokens) and PKI are added (for JaCarta PKI USB tokens);
• the feature for generation of the key RSA 4096 pair is added;
• irrelevant components are excluded from structure of a distribution kit;
• reduction of amount of a distribution kit for Microsoft Windows OS for 30% is reached;
• speed of operation of the module of support of CryptoPro CSP of versions 4 and 5 is optimized during the work with USB tokens of JaCarta of all models;
• speed of work of Uniform Library is optimized;
• errors and vulnerabilities are eliminated, stability of the version is increased.
