VTB selected the Russian management system for software testing

2020: Obtaining licenses for a management system for testing of Test IT for a period of 5 years

The VTB bank announced on January 20, 2021 that it will use domestic development of the resident of a cluster of information technologies of Skolkovo Foundation of Test IT for solving of tasks on testing and ensuring quality of software.

VTB obtained licenses for a period of 5 years for use of a system on management of testing. The management system for testing of Test IT helps to reduce time for support of test model for 30-40%, to lower time and finance costs for the development cycle and testings for 10-15%, to control quality of work of remote commands. The single system of management of testing will be unrolled on all IT block of VTB bank.

Full compliance to requirements of information security, integration into the IT4IT standard existing in bank and extensive functionality for combination of the manual and automated testing were the main selection terms of this system.

The Test IT software product is included in the Unified register of the domestic software at the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and corresponds to the Russian legislation in the field of import substitution.

This testing system of Test IT will be unrolled on all IT infrastructure of bank. More than 200 commands which are engaged in development and testing and also the divisions which are responsible for a support and maintenance will use this tool. Pilot testing of this system showed compliance to all requirements of information security that was for us one of the main selection terms — the Head of Department of IT architecture Ilya Starostin commented.
