Integration with seller account in Ozon Marketplace

On September 1, 2021, Ecwid announced an expansion of the platform's capabilities: online store owners are now able to integrate data with a seller account in the Ozon Marketplace for FBO, FBS and DBS collaboration models.

In the Ecwid line of solutions aimed at increasing the volume and efficiency of sales of online store owners, an application will appear that sets up the exchange of data between the seller's account on Ozon and the Ecwid online store. This makes it easier to work on both platforms at the same time, making these sales channels more efficient.

After you install the app, the store control panel on Ecwid will show all orders placed by store buyers on Ozon, prefabricated orders and their track numbers. Shipments from Ozon will automatically arrive in Ecwid with the necessary information for subsequent shipment of the goods to the customer and analysis of sales.

The application synchronizes the claimed and actual sales value, item balances, and order statuses every 5 minutes. This allows you to automatically monitor the fulfillment of an order on the Ozon side when working under the FBO (Fulfillment by Ozon) scheme and change the departure statuses to Ozon from the Ecwid interface for users collaborating with the FBS (Fulfillment by Seller) marketplace. This actually halves the amount of work with both sites. It also minimizes the possibility of errors related to incorrect accounting of balances in the warehouse and the difference in the description of goods. The application functionality covers the main e-commerce processes and takes into account all models of collaboration with the marketplace, including DBS (Delivery by Seller). If you work according to this scheme, if you change the corresponding statuses in Equid, the statuses'Delivered 'and'Delivered' will change to Ozon, and the departure track number will also be transferred to Ecwid.

On February 2, 2021, the international technology company Ecwid announced the improvement of the automatic calculation of the cost of delivery by the Russian Post. Now it will be easier and easier for customers of stores based on the Ecwid designer to choose the appropriate delivery option for their purchase.

The cost of delivery by the Russian Post in the Ecwid store is now calculated automatically and will be available to the buyer immediately after the delivery address is indicated. For the seller, the configuration method is simplified - you need to specify only the shipping address and choose shipping options for buyers. This integration allows the seller to set up delivery zones, specify the type of shipment and additional settings depending on the product and business characteristics (fragility of the product, declared value, the need for SMS alerts).
