2021: Creation of the "Oncoverie" system

TehLAB on February 2, 2021 announced the release of a solution for the early detection of cancer.

The Onco-Alert system is based on the Galenos platform and can work as part of any regional segments of the EGIS or private clinics. It is intended for doctors of non-oncological specialties. Based on the general data about the patient and his complaints, the IT solution draws up a list of clarifying questions for the specialist, answering which he can assess the likelihood of a particular oncological disease and decide whether it is advisable to send the patient for further diagnosis to exclude the diagnosis. As of February 2021, using the system, you can get a forecast for 17 major cancers.

During the initial appointment, the main task of the doctor is to conduct an examination, collect a history and conduct a differential diagnosis, that is, taking into account the symptoms voiced by the patient, to compile a list of possible pathologies in descending order of probability. Oncological diseases may also be on this list, since their primary manifestations may "disguise" as symptoms of other pathologies.

The solution includes more than 100 different issues prepared by TechneLAB medical specialists based on the most current clinical recommendations of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. First, the system takes into account the sex and age of the patient, which allows to exclude part of the diagnoses. Given this information, Oncoalware forms the next block of questions, and this can happen several times. As a result, the solution makes a list of possible oncopathologies, assesses the severity of symptoms and offers information to the doctor. Oncopathologies, which, in the opinion of the system, require priority consideration, are visually distinguished to attract attention. Each selected item is supplemented by a list of relevant diagnostic procedures that can be assigned to the patient to clarify the diagnosis, as well as a link to relevant clinical recommendations - the doctor can get additional information directly from the website of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation with one click.

Some pathologies, for example, lymphomas, the developers combined into one prognosis, since it is almost impossible to distinguish them from external signs - expensive, including molecular genetic, studies are needed, which should be selected and prescribed by a narrow specialist. At the same time, the system, of course, can and will develop: it is possible to add questions to it or change the priority of certain issues compared to the rest.
