The solution assyst is available in the SaaS or on-premise model (local deployment). assyst presents at the market the newest technology of a dashboard in real time, social management of IT, mobility, the reporting, resource management and forecasting. In assyst there is a number of solutions and templates which guarantee immediate return for satisfying customer claims and cost reduction. assyst also provides the integrated functionality for support of management of IT assets (ITAM), management and standardization within the uniform, quickly unrolled application. 2014

assyst v.10 SP5

On April 21, 2014 the Axios Systems company announced a release of the new version of assyst in which possibilities of business process automation are expanded.

Additions of the new version

Business process management

  • The feature for early termination of the current process during the work with workflow is added.

User preference

  • There was an opportunity to create the user sections which refer to sections of a product. The Designer of the General Fields tools which allow to create and apply new user fields (custom fields) on forms, in lists and searching tools are added. The designer of RTF of fields is improved.

Knowledge management

  • Abilities to manage are expanded the knowledge base. The option of creation of the user scenarios of lifecycle (workflow) is added. Opportunities for filling of the knowledge base from incident management processes and problems are expanded.

Integration opportunities and licensing

  • There was a new license type – assyst Integration License. This license is used for start of all integration components of a system, without use of the standard user license. assyst Integration License is free.

Reporting and analytics

  • The feature for a subscription for the reports created in the module "Master of Creation of Reports" is added. There was a functionality for creation of reports on the schedule.

IT Resource Performance Management и Social IT

  • Within the long-term strategy of automation of IT RPM the functionality of support of social networks is presented in the new version of a product. Using approaches of crowdsourcing, social ratings and direct information exchange, the module Social IT allows to improve support processes, it is essential to facilitate filling of the knowledge base and gives the chance of knowledge deployment of users for quality improvement of work of a support service.

Conveniences of administration

  • In the web client new instruments of administration of a system, such as are available: control of licenses, management of support groups, possibility of setup of operation of the server of full-text search. The new program of installation will allow to reduce solution deployment time significantly.

Transition to the new platform and performance improvement

  • Transition to the new version of the JBOSS7 application server and use of Java7 considerably optimized operation of the application server, and use of the dojo toolkit 1.9 tools optimized work of a client part of a system. Support of MS SQL 2012, IE 10&11, Windows 8 SP1 is implemented. Updating of the server of full-text search on Lucene V4.3 is carried out.

assyst v.10 SP 5.5

In the version of assyst v.10 SP 5.5 of the Directory of Services system underwent the following changes:

  • There were additional resources of the analysis and reporting under use of services
  • There were funds of the analysis of influence of the plan of changes of FSC (Forward Schedule of Changes) for services
  • The module of approval of the procedure of subscription/activation of new services of the linear manager of the business user before start of the basic of workflow is developed. The organization of multilevel approvals depending on the cost of the ordered services and other parameters is possible
  • There was a possibility of an instant subscription to services by one button for business - users
  • The system of hierarchy of the menu of access to the Directory of services at Service Desk operators is improved
  • The module of an individual feedback on quality of the provided services is created
  • The new building block system of authorization of SSO SAML 2.0 for the assyst application server is implemented. The SAML 2.0 system allows to organize distributed system of authorization of different modules in multidomain infrastructure
  • The integrated functionality of 'multitenancy' was expanded for support groups and specialists, filters of search of services in the Directory of services
  • Improvements in the module of work with suppliers are reached - the system of purpose of tasks for suppliers is improved
  • There were improvements in the modules Social IT and Gamification
  • There was a module of a crowdsourcing feedback for articles of the Knowledge Base (KB)
  • The module of the user rating of articles of BZ is developed
  • The system of rating and social selection of active users of BZ is developed
  • There was a module of stimulation of participation in quality evaluations of work of services, uses of BZ and other optional tasks of business users due to use of techniques of Gamification
  • The module of remote control by workstations - VNC remote desktop is integrated. Allows to activate a session of a remote desktop with the applicant in one click.
  • The module of deployment (installer) of a product is improved.
  • Improvements in the IT warning system and business users about the arising events are reached
  • Printabilities and convertings of information from assyst in PDF are improved
  • Operation of the module of archiving of requests is improved

2015

assyst v.10.6

On March 31, 2015 the Axios Systems company announces a release of version 10.6 of the solution for automation of IT and business processes – assyst.

In this version, according to the statement of developers, abilities to manage are considerably expanded by business processes of any company and the convenience of work of IT and business users with the assyst system is increased:

  • implementation of more flexible models of prioritizing of addresses,
  • possibility of accounting of labor costs (timesheeting) according to addresses
  • possibility of accounting of the labor costs which are not connected with processing of addresses
  • the calendar in which it is possible to specify all planned activities and the status of users is added.

They help to manage resources, loading and performance (KPI) of personnel.

The reporting gained development:

  • 44 report templates according to new approach to resource management are updated,
  • 14 new templates supporting new ideology of prioritizing of addresses are added.

The full support of Rich Text of fields is implemented in version 10.6. It allows to insert images into the text of the description of addresses and actions. It increases efficiency and speed of interaction of business with IT.

In this version the possibility of remote control is implemented by user workstation (Remote Control) and initiations of a session of remote control via the assyst portal considerably are increased by the speed and quality of processing of addresses. Important feature is that assyst supports any mechanism of remote control used by the customer.

In version 10.6 different mechanisms of authorization for different solution components (assyst WEB can become authorized through Kerberos, assyst NET through LDAP, assyst Mobile through the database) are supported assyst is easier integrated into the operating IT infrastructure of customer company.

Authentication of users is more transparent and became more convenient.

In version 10.6 new integration opportunities of assyst are provided:

  • integration of the Rest API tools into a single platform of assyst is executed that allowed to expand abilities to integrate the solution with external sources – accounting platforms of a corporate class: 1C, SAP.
  • integration into the knowledge base of Right Answers, with the system of telephony Digistro Easy Call is implemented.

Within performance improvement and support modern the web of technologies is performed transition to the new version of the JBOSS EAP 6.1.0 application server that considerably improved its work, and use of the Java Script Toolkit Dojo 1.10.1 tools optimized work of a client part of a system.

In this version of assyst support is implemented Oracle Database 12c and Microsoft SQL Server 2014.

Now supports mobile application of assyst Apple iOS 8.

Transfer of functionality from the client of Windows in Web became an important innovation.

The interface and possibilities of administration of settings of a system underwent completions:

  • new features on customization (on a self-service portal of assystNET it is possible to change a sorting order of elements of the main menu, to set the size of fields in forms and distance between fields) are added,
  • flexible opportunities of setup of the interface of the contractors working with a system are implemented (setup "under themselves", inclusion in information zone of all necessary information on the affected users).

Transition to version 10.6 of the solution assyst on tradition is easy, painless and does not require considerable time expenditure and human resources.

2016

assyst from Axios Systems is certified on 16 processes of ITIL

assyst became the first-ever ITSM-the solution certified by Pink Elephant on 16 processes of ITIL. The new module on management of IT assets (ITAM Suite) was a part of the ITSM solution assyst. It allowed Axios Systems to undergo certification on the 16th ITIL to process – management of IT assets.

Pink Elephant is the independent organization of ITSM experts which is engaged in world famous certification (PinkVERIFY) of ITSM solutions on compliance to requirements of ITIL library, now ITIL v.2011 (PinkVERIFY 2011 Toolsets).
