2021: Testing of the disinfection performance monitoring system

On February 12, 2021, it became known that the production site of JSC SovtransavtoMoscow"-" underwent full-scale tests of the system for monitoring the effectiveness of disinfection transport means as part of measures to ensure epidemiological safety on, including in transport the conditions of a pandemic of a new coronavirus infection (). COVID-19

Testing of the system took place as part of the research work (R & D) "Development of scientifically based proposals to ensure monitoring of the effectiveness and quality of preventive disinfection of various types of vehicles and transport infrastructure facilities," carried out by employees of the Research Institute of Road Transport (JSC NIIAT) by order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

According to the supervisor of NIIAT, Ph.D. Vadim Donchenko, the testing of the information system was carried out on the example of special equipment designed for automatic simultaneous aerosol treatment of air and surfaces in the cabin of vehicles, the Mobile Hygiene Center (MHC), manufactured by the domestic company ASKM LLC.

Tests were carried out on regular passenger buses in two modes: processing according to the mode of final disinfection and according to the mode of preventive disinfection. All information on the disinfection performed (date, time, vehicle number, data on the responsible contractor, disinfectant consumption and confirmation of disinfection treatment) was received in an automated mode by a special monitoring server of the information system.

To determine the effectiveness of disinfection carried out by specialists of an accredited organization before and after disinfection, flushes from surfaces and air samples were taken for the presence of pathogenic microorganisms in the bus cabin. According to the results, the developers will have to protect research and development in the Ministry of Transport in early March 2021.

According to the developers, as of February 2021, the system for monitoring the quality of measures for disinfection of transport units is ready-made software that can be purchased and implemented by any private transport enterprise. {{quote 'author = said Vadim Donchenk'Complete automation of disinfection will significantly reduce the cost of the carrier for disinfection by reducing the number of employees involved, completely level out the human factor and increase the transparency of disinfection measures. " }}

In the future, it is possible to scale the system into a global all-Russian service. According to the developers, the deployment of the project on a national scale involves the creation of an appropriate computing infrastructure and the application of joint efforts of all industry participants.
