2018: Development of the ERP system based on OEBS
Development of ERP based on Oracle e-Business Suite the Philosophy company. IT. Project terms: 2011-2018.
2013: MTS completed implementation of ERP Oracle e-Business Suite R12
The operator of MTS announced in March, 2013 the beginning of commercial operation of the updated ERP system constructed based on Oracle e-Business Suite R12 (OEBS) instead of used before Oracle e-Business Suite 11i.
ERP on the basis of the new version of Oracle e-Business Suite by the beginning of 2013 works for 10.5 thousand jobs that does it by one of the largest projects on implementation of OEBS in Russia.
The amount spent by the operator upon transition to OEBS R12 does not reveal, however representatives of MTS explain that else in 2011 at implementation of a complex of business applications of Oracle, MTS "selected a complete portfolio of software products of Oracle" with right to use of unlimited number of licenses for business applications. Therefore upon transition to the new version of Oracle e-Business Suite costs by the operator were incured only on consulting services.
As well as at former implementations of ERP Oracle in MTS, the contractor the Sitronics IT integrator earlier known as Kvazar-micro acted related to it. In the summer of 2012 Sitronics IT belonging before to the owner of MTS of AFK "Sistema" endured merge to Nvision Group integrator.
Thus, the owner of MTS of AFK "Sistema" which possesses 50%+0.5 stocks of NVision Group still controls Sitronics IT integrator, but now indirectly. Except it own IT team of the operator worked on the project on implementation of OEBS R12 in MTS.
New ERP covers financial and logistic activities of the operator, order management, projects and personnel. Besides on its basis the business processes connected with fixed assets, management of warehouse stocks, settlings with suppliers and customers, purchases of services and the equipment and planning of investment expenses are unified. During implementation a system was integrated with the specialized systems used by the operator.
Describing result of upgrade of OEBS, MTS notes, in particular, reduction for 70% the number of the warehouse organizations and the number of nomenclature reference books reduced twice in comparison with the last version.
The operator of MTS began the history of implementation of ERP on the basis of Oracle e-Business Suite 11i in June, 2004. In 2006 this ERP was unrolled and brought into commercial operation in all Russian branches of operator. By this time it was the most large-scale project on implementation of OEBS in Russia and the CIS. A system covered more than 1 thousand jobs, and about 5 thousand employees were its users.
In MTS implementation of a complex of Oracle applications for personnel management which allowed to manage all staff of the operator came to the end with summer of 2011.
2011: Development of a system based on OEBS
On June 27, 2011 implementation of a complex of business applications of Oracle for personnel management is complete. The single corporate system on the basis of Oracle E-Business Suite allows to manage staff of all staff of MTS.
Solution
Within the project on creation in MTS of the uniform automated control system for personnel for specialists SITRONICS IT together with a project team of MTS the modules Oracle Human Resources for personnel records, Oracle Time Labor for a time recording and Oracle Payroll for payroll are successfully implemented. Business processes of conducting personnel document flow, planning and a time recording, payroll were designed by experts of MTS. At the same time, the task to minimize any manual transactions, to optimize all processes of personnel office-work and payroll was set. The modules Oracle Human Resources are a part of the integrated ERP system of Oracle E-Busines Suite intended for effective planning, accounting, control and the analysis of all main business processes of the enterprise.
Stages
At the first stage of the project the personnel management system covered all structural divisions of MTS in Moscow, and since January, 2011 was unrolled in all regional divisions of MTS. Together with a project team of MTS test operation of a system was carried out, all business processes of maintaining time keeping and payroll are smoothly running, integration with other financial system modules of Oracle E-Busines Suite is implemented (Creditors, Ledger).

2007: Implementation of OEBS in all branches
In August, 2007 the MTS mobile operator finished implementation of the ERP system based on Oracle E-Business Suite (OEBS) in all branches of the company in 85 cities of Russia. Implementation began in June, 2004. As integrator the Kvazar-micro company, the project manager acted from the contractor - Sergey Tarasenko.
Project description of implementation
Specialists Kvazar-Mikrro developed a target functional architecture of the solution based on the Oracle e-Business Suite system. In January, 2006 process of creation of "master system" in all structural divisions of MTS in Moscow was complete. During 2006 a system was consistently unrolled and brought into commercial operation in all branches MTS in Russia.
For August, 2007 users of a system are about 5000 employees, at the same time the number of at the same time working users exceeds 1000 people.
The project in MTS is the most large-scale and successful implementation project of the Oracle e-Business Suite system in Russia and the CIS. The project covered practical all basic functionality of the Oracle e-Business Suite system and was implemented in a short space of time without uniform deviation from the baseline plan.
Implementation and replication of ERP allowed to consolidate all structural divisions of MTS in a uniform business system, increase in efficiency and transparency of business processes of the company became result of what; optimization of logistics and mechanisms of controlling of purchases and also reduction of internal information flows and cutting of costs for their providing.
