2021: Migrating Enterprise Data to Softline Cloud

The company "Em-Si Bauhemi" (the Russian office of MC-Bauchemie - the world manufacturer of building materials and the developer of technologies for their effective use) transferred part of its information resources to the Softline cloud. This was reported on February 17, 2021 by Softline.

By choosing Softline cloud services, the customer received financial guarantees to strictly comply with all SLA provisions, as well as the ability to build a fault-tolerant and cost-effective IT infrastructure.

To solve business problems in the Russian market, Em-Si Bauhemi (MC-Bauchemie Russia) used cloud services provided by one of the providers. Over time, the quality of its services ceased to meet the requirements of the business. In an effort to change the situation for the better, the leadership of EM Bauhemi began to consider the possibility of transferring information resources to the cloud of another provider. At the same time, it was important to ensure the smooth functioning of all services and business processes.

The optimal option was offered by Softline, a global provider of IT solutions and services. After studying in detail the needs of EM Bauhemi and collecting all the necessary information about the state of its IT infrastructure, the experts of the provider suggested that the customer gradually transfer corporate resources to the Softline cloud.

Before the start of the project, the management of EM Bauhemi got acquainted with the functional features of this solution. It is built on a certified platform, based on FlexPod-, and systems of storage NetApp switchboards computing power,. Cisco software VMware The solution allows you to flexibly scale resources, reduce capital expenditures on IT infrastructure, and easily manage through virtual DPC the web interface. The round-the-clock technical support does service qualitative, available and, therefore, attractive both for large corporate customers, and for the enterprises of an average and, small business noted in Softline.

During the testing of the cloud service, the customer was convinced of its capabilities. Having a high level of competence, MC-Bauchemie Russia specialists independently transferred the company's information resources to the Softline cloud. The use of the Veeam Cloud Connect software solution allowed the customer not only to reduce the migration process, but also to make it safe. The Softline team answered all the questions that the client had at all stages of the project implementation, together with EM-SI Bauhemi specialists, performed the emerging IT tasks, and promptly responded to all requests.
