2021: Start developing a domestic solution based on the Elbrus platform

Inpro Technologies and NORSI-TRANS announced on February 19, 2021 that they had jointly begun developing a domestic solution based on the Elbrus platform for use in software and hardware systems with direct liquid cooling (NZHO). Thanks to this cooperation, it is planned to create a completely import-independent solution that combines the capabilities of Liquid Cube and domestic server solutions.

CJSC NORSI-TRANS is one of the Russian players in the market for the development and implementation of import-independent information and analytical systems. In particular, its portfolio includes a line of servers and data storage systems built on the basis of Elbrus processors included in the Register of Industrial Products manufactured in the Russian Federation.

Inpro Technologies LLC, the developer of Liquid Cube computing and communication complexes, proposed NORSI-TRANS to create a joint solution based on the Elbrus platform using NZHO technology.

Specialists of Inpro Technologies and NORSI-TRANS are working on the creation of typical elements of the IT infrastructure on the basis of the Elbrus platform of domestic production for operation in Liquid Cube direct liquid cooling complexes.

Complexes based on Inpro Technologies solutions are almost silent, are not adversely affected by external factors such as dust, humidity and static electricity, and they can be deployed in any type of room in a short time. NORSI-TRANS will be able to create high-performance systems in a limited space, including in office and production premises without special training.

In turn, Inpro Technologies is expanding the list of typical IT elements of domestic production to create solutions using direct liquid cooling.

"The import substitution program involves a constant increase in the share of Russian-made components in information systems and complexes. Program participants need ready-to-use software and hardware solutions created using domestic platforms, such as developed by NORSI-TRANS. Our solution will not only become part of the complex based on advanced Russian developments, but will also reduce the operating costs of cooling the IT infrastructure by more than 30%, "said Oleg Kotelyukh, managing partner of Inpro Technologies LLC.

"Increasing the competitiveness of Russian IT products to bring them to the global market and strengthen the domestic economy is one of the main tasks for Russian IT companies in recent years. We see how demand for domestic IT infrastructure is growing, and customers increasingly want to get the full range of Russian-made solutions from hardware to applications. Inpro Technologies technologies and solutions will make our hardware and software systems more efficient in terms of accommodation capabilities and energy costs for their cooling, "said Sergey Ovchinnikov, General Director of NORSI-TRANS CJSC.
