Liquid Cube is a computing and communication complex with direct liquid cooling.
2021: Obtaining the patent in Taiwan
The "Inntekh scientific and technological center" entering into Inpro Tekhnolodzhis group took out the patent of the Taiwan Department on intellectual property (TIPO) on the system of direct liquid cooling of the computing and communication equipment Liquid Cube. Also the company carries out work on patenting of the development in some other countries. "Inpro Tekhnolodzhis" reported about it on February 3, 2021.
The patent for invention No. 1715074 granted by Department on the intellectual property of Taiwan works since January 1, 2021. The company acquired the exclusive right to production, use and implementation in Taiwan of the system of direct liquid cooling of the computing and communication equipment Liquid Cube. The patent will be valid till June, 2039.
Feature of Liquid Cube technology – creation of the thermostable environment for the IT equipment in DPC and also reliability augmentation and efficiency of its IT infrastructure. For cooling in a system the dielectric heat carrier – the liquid which is not passing electric current is used.
Air cooling systems perfectly cope when a heat load on racks in DPC does not exceed 5-10 kW. But if from IT racks it is necessary to take away more than 20 kW of heat or the quantity of the heat-generating components per acre increases – there are problems. And such loading on the IT equipment can create almost all applications, for example, in the field of processing of Big Data or artificial intelligence. The solution patented by us is effective at any heat generation rate of the IT equipment in DPC, also it saves over 30% of the electric power for infrastructure and 50% of operating costs in comparison with air cooling systems, – Oleg Kotelyukh, the managing partner of Inpro Tekhnolodzhis Group comments. |
Earlier the company took out the patent for the similar solution in Russia. Patent No. 2695089 C2 works till December, 2037.
For us as for solution designers in the field of cooling of the IT equipment in DPC, it is important to protect the intellectual property rights in each market where we are going to work in the long term. Output to the market of mobile version of DPC Liquid Cube
On March 31, 2020 TAdviser knew that the Inpro Tekhnolodzhis company developed mobile version of a computing and communication complex with liquid cooling of Liquid Cube.
Main product of the company – a universal computing and communication complex with technology of direct liquid cooling Liquid Cube. Unlike the basic and container version of Liquid Cube in special execution it becomes mobile. The mobile DPC can be moved freely on dirt roads, to transport aircraft or railway transport

According to him, market research of data centers showed demand of compact DPCs in mobile execution, and the existing requests from the companies and the state organizations only confirm it.
The company notes that one of key characteristics of a mobile complex – preserving of privacy.
In "Inpro Tekhnolodzhis" calculate that mobile Liquid Cube will be demanded by military, scientists, oil industry workers, geologists – all who need computing powers "here and now", and it is impossible to unroll stationary DPC. The body of a mobile complex protects it from bad weather, sand, dust and other harmful effects – technogenic and physical.
Our development is capable to work with the broad range of temperatures: from the desert to the Polar region, it can be set in zones with high seismic activity. Development contains all principal components of standard DPC, at the same time without requiring infrastructure: depending on the project, each copy will be individually developed under an installation site and placements.
