2018: Implementation of PM Forsyth

LUKOIL-Engineering has implemented an Information System for Project Management based on the PM Forsyth system.

The difficulty of implementation was to identify the relationship of objects and "fine-tune" the information system. Another requirement was the consolidation of information for each division (income, expenses, labor - this was carried out by each division manually), as well as the ability to create and maintain asset roadmaps.

The result of the development was the "Unified System for Managing Scientific and Production Projects," which automated the management of projects and contracts.

During the implementation of the project, integration tasks were also solved:

  • integrated with the corporate portal and contract negotiation system,
  • integrated with 1C

The system functionality allows you to:

  • Maintain roadmaps of LUKOIL Group-wide assets, including plan, research, development and closure (preservation) of the field
  • Track project progress
  • Monitor scheduling plans and progress on project milestones
  • Track financial flows by stage and year
  • Develop and monitor an annual thematic plan
  • Create an application for the "Annual Coordination Program of Scientific and Technical Works," which is approved at the LUKOIL Group of Companies

At the level of functional departments, the system allows you to show how much they are provided with finances and resources in the current year, how many contracts are in operation. Operational analytics facilitate rapid management decisions, additional contracts and balance.

The system has been put into industrial operation, its development and support continues.
