During the project, at two checkpoints, stations installed fingerprint identification controllers integrated with a video surveillance system and breathalysers: before entering the territory of the state district power station, a person confirms his identity by biometrics and is tested on a breathalyser. Exit from the station territory is carried out using RFID cards.

In addition to external perimeter control, the biometric system ensures the safety of the station's open switchgear. Access to the installation has a limited number of persons - specialists with 5 electrical safety clearance group.

Nizhnevartovskaya GRES is rightfully considered one of the most automated domestic power plants, and biometric MCDS is an integral element of its information system. Biometric equipment works in a single connection with video surveillance, security and fire alarms and breathalysers, and also ensures that the working time of personnel is taken into account.
