In March 2021, Vertu introduced the Ayxta Fold 5G smartphone, which, like many other products of the manufacturer, is very expensive compared to competing mobile devices in the market.

The Ayxta Fold 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor with support for fifth generation (5G) networks, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory. The display is characterized by a 4:3 aspect ratio, a 7.8-inch diagonal and a resolution of 1920 x 1440 pixels, which is slightly less than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 or Huawei Mate X2. When the Ayxta Fold 5G is folded, users receive two 5.5 and 5.4 inch screens, respectively.

On the back of the device is a camera with four modules, the resolutions of which are 64, 32, 16 and 8 megapixels. The phone is also equipped with a 4450 milliamp-hour battery with support for fast charging with a capacity of 18 watts.

10 is responsible for the software component operating system Android , supplemented by the proprietary user interface waterOS 2.0.

In addition, the gadget received Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type-C connector, two stereo speakers, a side fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, external illumination sensor, compass and barometer.

The cost of this model is $7,100. Interestingly, at this price, Vertu did not equip the Ayxta Fold 5G with inserts made of gold or gems, limited only to leather. The company is confident that the smartphone will interest loyal fans of the brand and without such excesses.

Journalists noticed that this Vertu smartphone is similar to the Royole Flexpai 2 model, which by March 11, 2021 costs about $1700.[1]
